I agree with Bump - I sometimes try to run down lone pedestrians for fun, but most dodge out of the way and so I carry on driving, rather than continuing to try to run them over. Oh, and thanks for fixing that bug, btw.

You need to upgrade your graphics card drivers. Your graphics card causes a blue screen exception and Windows "helpfully" restarts the computer so that new users won't see the bad words and cry... /me looks for a "baby" emoticon

Nah, due to a bug, you'll still get the credit for the kill I agree - doing NOTHING but car killing could be considered n00bish. But to be honest, when you have $0 left, there's not really much else you can do to earn money / weapons.

What do you mean "sounds extremely interesting"? As far as I know, the team have said nothing about the new core. They have said that certain things would require a new core, but they haven't yet stated that they would be features of core 0.4.

First on the other you can't choose what map u wanna play and secound of all if u didn't update 0.3 filters it shows both 0.3 and 0.4 on other! Yeah... but the filters were made nearly 8 months ago when 0.3 came out, so you have some serious updating to do.

Have you ever played Neocron? I tried, but I gave up halfway through it downloading about 80 patches. One big patch I wouldn't have minded, but 80 small ones? It's just stupid. So yeah, it's good that they're delaying it to fix the easy / quick to fix issues all at once.

But there are still 32 actors reserved for it. I remember someone saying that you get the "disco sky" effect in SP if you type "giveusatank" loads of times.

And if you were alone in the warehouse with no-one else and just civilians, there wouldn't be any problems with synchronisation. However, I reckon every 5 mins is a bit excessive. I reckon it should be a randomly located powerup that appears very infrequently. GTA3 definitely should have more ways to make money because I'm often faced off with pistol vs shotgun and die (naturally). I then lose money for dying, at which point I'm stuck with my pistol because I can't afford a better weapon. THAT's why so many people car kill. (Yeah, I know this is the VC forum but it was related to the previous paragraph.)

I just tried to get into a (parked) Cheetah and I was suddenly jacked and ended up on the roof (despite the fact that there was no-one near at the time). I was also in a completely different location. I had picked up the car from its spawn point not far from the Turismo start point and ended up being transported to somewhere with grass by the sea (I'm not sure where because I got killed pretty much straight away).

No... that is caused by people who have joined the server but are not actually in-game (I asked one of them how he got in the tunnel and that's what he told me).

The game is set to 2 (VC) by default (for some reason), so just change this to a 1, save the file and then load up the server. There are other things you can change too, such as the server name, number of players, etc.

How does the sound thing work? Will the other people need to have MTArc installed as well?
