Well, think about it: a taunting system is alwys fun whichever game you find it in. And with VC having dozens of ped audio already in there, it's just begging to be implemented . Maybe it won't be too difficult to get it working and since it could make a pretty cool addition, I say n1 to the village bug catcher a.k.a turbob .

Oh no, I ain't meeting my great grand parents again . Plus that crappy Stallion (or whatever it is, I forget) doesn't even look half as cool as a Delorean. Try with a Deluxo . Anyway, the point of MTA was to generally bring multiplayer ability to the game in any way possible, not allow for co-op playing of the SP missions (which at first may sound cool I'll admit, but I'm sure in the end not many ppl would even try to make it a worthwhile venture).

It's in the same page of the same forum of the same message board; people have eyes. Stop spamming.

In ascending order of difficulity: - Assign the recording action to a different key (as already suggested) - Reinstall FRAPS; something might have gone very wrong (not likely, but there's always a slim chance) - Update your GFX card drivers (rebooting always strongly suggests a drivers problem)
-
Wouldn't the car be missing altogether if someone was driving it at the time you spawned? Malsyncing only works when cars are vacant and not in their spawn locations I believe.
-
For what turbob suggests to happen, the vehicle has to be vacant in order to get in it as a passenger, so how could you use that as a method to tell if ppl driving or flying at that time are hacking? They're either driving or they're not ...
-
For short: far from just that ^.

Where did you download it from? If it was through own-age (they send you to filefront or some place), was the file complete (4:29) when you d/l-ed it and could you use the seek bar to go to any part of it? BTW xenex, what videos specifically are you talking about? Maybe I have them too and since I got them from TGA, I could confirm they're ok. One more thing: could someone that has "Decan's Auto Stunt Reel" upload it to TGA plz? It would really help those of us without a fileplanet account. Muchos gracias .

All I can say is DAMN ! Nah, not really; I can say more. First number shows total ammo, second shows ammo on the current clip. Hasn't it ever seem strange that your character always reloads his weapon when the right number reaches 0 and then the left one goes down some? And that's why girls have no business playing computer games... Nah, j/k , any1 coulda asked this. Be good now .

Uhmmm, Fraps can either record either @ half or full game reso, so to get replays recorded @ 640x480 you'd have to either play in 1280x960 (!) or 640x480 reso and the latter sounds more sensible to me. BTW, 640x480 @ ~600kbps bitrate is just not good (enough) for a clip that's meant to be payed as much attention to as a stunt vid; it would be decent @ smaller resos or for less significant stuff like a funny gag, or previews, or other stuff.

Minesweeper fokn pwns. And yeah beating Easy quickly is halfways a matter of luck (my best is 7 secs ), but Expert is where it gets interesting . BTW, lol @ mouse (sword)fighting.
-
Personal preferences: Video reso: 400x300 - 640x480 Framerate: 20FPS - 30FPS Video encoding: DivX pro 5.1, XviD (3/2/04) or WMV prof. v9 Video bitrate: 1200kbps - 1900kbps, one pass should be enough Audio encoding: MP3, or Lame MP3 Audio bitrate: 128kbps 44,1KHz - 48KHz CBR Filetype: preferably AVI, otherwise WMV. Whatever comes out with those chars should be reasonable I guess. BTW, pretty damned thing this latest XviD codec I got off K-Lite Codec Pack 225 (y). Worth checking out.

^ what he said BTW, this is quite old...

This is a completely different thing than map/textures bugs and holes. Ppl have been havin fun mergin with PCJs for a long time now, but the way you suggest they do it is a first - to me at least - so it's cool this is gettin posted. Usually you'd pull that trick by parking a bike very close to a clothes pickup, getting off and then jumping on again: with the bike parked right, the screen would fade out and back in with Tommy fused with it 'till you'd press enter again. What's good about it is that you can crash into anything without falling off or taking damage; you'd just spin around some and the bike would absorb all the damage (don't remember if you can take it to a PnS though ). Still it's not really a cool thing to do over and over again, since the controls get all twisted around and it's not an easily maneuverable combo in the end: Shift and Ctrl act as gas and brake and you can't use Num6 or Num9 to shift your weight around I think. I'm guessing there's more wackiness involving ppl pausing in MTA waiting to be discovered. Try pilot/passenger pausing in helis, tell us what you got .

^^ 100% ditto. Well... except for the 'being a racer' part, since I'm a hardc0er cop . But yeah, right on.
-
^ what's with that guy? Anyway, I'm with LB on this. Gave me the giggles
-
Yeah, but let's just stick to map/texture bugs for this one. And turbob: yeah ppl like bugs. They're odd and therefore interesting stuff to know and when you've been playing a game for that many months as many here have, if some1 tells you there's something you didn't know, you're gonna want to see it just for the sake of completeness. Plus finding bugs is another form of l33tness competition .

PD was the shit indeed. Just setting up team Capture The Briefcase matches with 4 teams of 2 in the Fortress arena after finishing SP was all I needed to keep me playing it on my PJ64 emu for months during last summer (y). And darksims musta been some of the toughest skill to beat in any FPS game, PC or otherwise; I'm talking more accurate than godlike UT200x bots. Mostly the problem was the fokn controls which were all over the place on the emu, but I kinda figured it out in the end. Anyway, yeah very good game - arguably overall the best for N64, or if you're a Zelda fan, the best non-RPG action game. Not really underrated though . Speaking about Rayman, any1 remembers playing Jazz Jackrabbit 1? Classic platformer for the PC that one, but with very vivid colours, the smoothest and friskiest framerate you'd see then and generally had many of the elements that made ppl like Sega's Sonic games. Hmmm, what else? Oh yeah Fallout 2: RPG if the year back in '98 I believe, so again not a neglected title. Fuc,ked up and buggy as hell even after patched once by the late Interplay comp, it still was easily the best of the few RPGs I've played. Cool story, tons of stats for your char that affect everything, many items and a huge variety of realistic guns (ranging from made up pipe shotguns, to desert eagles, to scoped hunting rifles and AK's to Laser miniguns and alien blasters), ability to pull aimed shots at body parts, some animated convos with NPC's, very nice enviro, huge map, friendly NPC's that help along, the worx... Sadly the action's turn based (dice rolls and the 0ldsch00l such), but it owns even so. Musta played it through like 3 times, and I'm still pretty much obsessed with it! Today I finished downloading Fallout 1 from some old ass torrent so I'll get to see how that 1 is now . Underrated kinda: The 7th Guest and it's sequel The 11th Hour. Fun for the twisted to a sub-Phantasmagoria level. K this is getting long, so lez stop for now

So any plans to include other player models? I'm guessing it's gonna be with the ghost system (char selection method) like with VC if so. When the time comes, plz ask us to choose from a couple of very high locations for them (if there's more than one obvious choise that is) . And what's with "Cruisin & #8242; through LC"? Single quote character in thread title bug? -
Somehow I don't think the Worms series can be characterized as "unrecognized" or even underrated games. They are kickass games though. Have been ever since Worms 2 and I've been getting them since then .

Yeah I was looking at pic #2 myself, but I was thinking "hmmm that's a lot of thugs there...". Any skin differentiation plans folks? Stunts (both unique and not)? -
*yawn* How exciting... *yawn*

No because more than 6hrs straight is called an "addiction" and we wouldn't want to have any of that, would we ?
-
Hum... Did you just ask a question that was not a question? And yeah I think deleting that non-savegame file in the VC documents dir has been mentioned before, but it helps generally. Even when you're getting weird things in your SP saves.
