  1. Not for Europeans. We have to wait until the 10th because (so I'm told) European CD factories can't work 24/7 like US ones can.
  2. They can fly, but it's extremely difficult. I've partially managed it.

    Updates

Yeah, it still crashes so hopefully 0.4.5 will reduce these. Also check out http://www.mtablue.info for details on MTA:Blue.
  4. Unfortunately you think too highly of people. An alarming number of people are not that smart, proof of which can be discovered on this very forum (no names mentioned).
  5. I noticed that the dialog was updated automatically from time to time. I think it was coded in VBScript or similar and it downloaded new code every time it ran, hence why it took a while. On the other hand, it closed VC instantly whereas it took a while to close with the normal Windows error reporting dialog.
  6. http://forum.mtavc.com/viewtopic.php?t=10965
  7. Blue's for VC. They haevn't said whether they're making one for GTA3, but Blokker said that if they did, it would be after MTA:San Andreas.
  8. If you've ever played GTA3:MTA 0.4.x, you'd know what kind of problems can occur. Sometimes the cars turn blue or you get a funky disco effect in the sky.
  9. I find that the n00bs that often try to run you down are crap at driving and so once you dodge the car, they're an easy target as they try to turn round. I often check the radar to see who's coming up behind me and use the "behind view" to dodge it.
  10. Doesn't GTAT get around that problem (if I recall correctly)?
  11. To be fair, the manual is out of date (although the majority of it does still apply).
  12. wait and see That's a good point actually. They never stated that it wouldn't support Staunton, they just only showed screenshots for Shoreside. I can see why they would want to add both maps to get 0.4.x out of the way and free up team members to work on Blue.
  13. I think he was talking about standard deathmatch.
  14. The client has flood protection built in. It makes you wait for 10 secs before rejoining. Were you using a cracked client?
  15. Ha ha, I love this guy. I did think to myself a couple of months ago how pissed off everyone would be if they suddenly revealed on April 1st that they were having a laugh and Blue didn't actually exist. But seriously, check your facts before you start making accusations. They have http://www.mtasa.com ready for San Andreas, and if they didn't have it, http://www.multitheftauto.com would do just fine. Also, SA hasn't even been released for PC so they don't even know if it's possible. That's why they're making Blue for Vice City. People with half a braincell couldn't grasp the concept of 0.4 supporting both GTA3 and VC so they may not go for a multi-game client again, at least not soon. Btw, they affiliate with sites that do not make a profit either, except for All Seeing Eye, but that's probably part of their terms of contract for using their SDK.
  16. Since when were you their spokesperson? What difference does it make if Rockstar make 2 player multiplayer? It's only 2 players, not the 26 you can currently have with VC (32 with GTA3). And anyway, SA's multiplayer on the PS2 has no netcode at all. That's why they were able to sync the pedestrians. Since Rockstar are not allowed to make significant changes, I doubt they will add netcode.
  17. I would presume that the frequent crashes will be addressed, but they may lack sufficient information to fix the more obscure ones (which don't matter so much anyway).
  18. I reckon the next one will have more role-playing features. I mean, first VC had purchasable businesses and now SA has eating, exercise and weapon stats too.
  19. Great news if you're a GTA3 player because they've added a whole new map (Shoreside Vale), synced skins (it was kind of annoying that everyone looked the same) and character classes. They haven't really stated what they're doing to VC though, but MrBump mentioned some changes to stunt mode. Both will obviously have bug fixes.
  20. Can it cope with that? And have you allowed for an unexpected boost in demand (e.g. magazine coverage)?
  21. Someone's bound to release a mod that does it in Blue anyway (or via MTAMA as Aeron suggested) so I doubt the team would spend time on it.
  22. I very much doubt it. eAi's post implied nothing btw.
  23. Doesn't it also ask you when you install MTA?
