You mean client side constant sun right? Some servers use mtama scripts to keep constant sun on the server. Yeah but everyone gets constant sun, not just one person.

I'd like to make a correction. The title of this thread should read "MTA VC DM 0.5 - Braddock's feedback". Strangely when people talk about MTA 0.5 they talk solely about VC DM and overlook GTA3 DM and VC Stunt, both of which have improved massively in this version. I suggest you give them a try.

They're the most popular MTA provider in the UK, hence this action affects a large number of servers and hence a larger number of players.

Next server release. And no, it's not Blue, it's a patch for 0.5.

It was 8 days. With that version they also fixed some crash bugs as well as fixing the main bandwidth problem. It was very impressive that they did it in such a short time (it seemed like much longer at the time though ). It was quick because they didn't really fix the errors - they just removed the features that caused the crashes, such as the spawn screen for example (great to see it back in 0.5 btw). I think it will take longer because the bandwidth bug was a pretty large one that was in urgent need of a fix. The 0.5 client has smaller bugs, most of which have workarounds (the server bug is pretty large though).

Oh, that's another thing. For some reason, the characters all have their heads cut off by the black border (only a minor issue though).

Er... there are other game modes available apart from VC DM which some people don't seem to be aware of. GTA3's Shoreside map is great for class-based DM and VC's Stunt mode has been improved a lot. These will attract new players.
