  1. They said that they would incorporate new modes into Blue out of the box, as it were, although they haven't stated what these will be (and probably won't).
  2. Yeah, I saw that, but don't mod developers have to specifically design their mod to work in Blue? That was the impression I got.
  3. That's a good idea actually.
  4. Blue supports mods, but it's up to the GTA: Liberty City mod team to decide whether they want to support multiplayer in their mod.
  5. Yeah, I'd agree with that. Driving's better with a control pad, but shooting requires accuracy which can only be provided by the mouse.
  6. It functions like any other firewall. You get a popup asking you if you want to allow the application access to the internet (unless you specified that you didn't want any exceptions).
  7. Probably a firewall issue. As this isn't specifically an MTA problem, you'd probably be better off posting this on the ASE forums: http://www.udpsoft.com/forum/
  8. I get the feeling that this is probably something really simple... Do you think you could take a screenshot of your ASE window and post it here?
  9. about that, why not? irc integration opened up a lot of cool stuff ihadn't seen anywhere else. aeron made that cool gif map image that gave live up to date locations of people ingame, and it gave admins a way of watching their servers even out of game. is there a new of doing all the things that mtama did? You can do all of that in C++.

It probably needs a hacked client.
  11. Ah ha. I've just noticed that you have an Australian flag by your name (very useful feature, thanks Blokker). The Australian version was censored, and hence the EXE file is different to American versions (upon which MTA was designed). This causes problems, the only solution to which is to "obtain" a non-censored exe file (and no, we can't tell you where because it borders on warez talk). Edit: Oops... wrong person, but it applies to the original poster.
  12. I don't think the joypad works particularly well with MTA. MTA was designed for use with a keyboard and mouse, so any MTA-specific keys won't work with a joypad.
  13. You do have MTA 0.4.1 installed don't you?
  14. That mountain one looks amazing. I also like the valet parking one. It's great that they're including lots of things to keep players occupied in addition to the missions.
  15. Yeah, I found that. Often what happens is that it comes up with a popup, but the popup is in the background so that you have to alt+tab in order to click it. Or you can just switch the firewall off.
  16. You don't worry about an error message popping up and then wonder why it doesn't work? It sounds to me like you've got it set to the wrong version. Try setting the version in the top right-hand corner of the MTA client to 1.1.
  17. You can't tell from a screenshot.
  18. It may be possible in MTA Blue with a console command.
  19. Hmm... interesting conclusion considering the results above.
  20. It doesn't work on German or Australian versions as they have been censored.
  21. I don't see what the fuss is about. Is bitchpacking an essential feature of MTA?
  22. Yeah, and even if they did have MI5 trucks, they definitely wouldn't have MI6 ones because they've never admitted that MI6 exists.
  23. Yeah, how would the fact that they're in a gang affect their ability to moderate the forums?
