Have you actually enabled it via the configuration file?

Maybe a Silly request........ but i was wondering????

Man, you really have to learn to respect the rules of this forum. -
The value of who killed you is actually a memory address in the game, and therefore the game has decided who killed you (which is obviously not that good). From what we can figure, the game decides who killed you by the last person that you have come in contact with by them shooting you or hitting you with a car. Therefore, if you die 10 mins later without ever being affected by another player, the last person that has come in contact with you will get the credit. We will have to really look into this as it is a known problem, but since score does not matter yet it was not a priority for us.

We understand our hostility, but new players will also have to understand the concept of looking / searching and thinking for themselves first. Most new players, when a problem arises, don't even consult the FAQ (which just happens to answers almost all issues). They decide to quickly post a bitch in the Forum or come into the IRC channel complaining that this and that does not work. We just want me to try things for themselves instead of relying on the dev's so much (we are overloaded already). Is that too much to ask?

This will be something we will look into for the future, but for now boats are impossible to add because of a few changes that they do to vehicles (ability to be on the water). Unfortunately, you will just have to wait for now.

For my interests sake, have you tried MTA:VC yet? Chances are a Linux Version will never be actively developed for two reasons: 1) Lack of audience. Why put all of this time and effort into something that hardly anyone will actually use? 2) Lack of time. We are extremely busy getting new versions out, so why hault development or bring on someone new to try and do this task, when it will just take away from the daunting task we already have? Sorry man.

You REALLY need to read the Manual, jeeeez. Start MTA Client Connect to Server Select Game Version Start VC Start New Game Play
-
You will know when you need to know, simple as that.
-
MTA:VC 0.1 and check the downloads page.
-
The next version of the Server that will be released will include this functionality. So, unfortunately you must wait until then.
-
If you honestly have a good way to do passenger code and think that it will help our method, they why don't you actually try to give us some pointers (if they will even help our method), instead of taunting everyone with images that could easily have been "made". Help development, don't hinder it.

I wonder how many people we can pack into a limo ... we will have to test that
-
I can only be sure that the same animations that are synced now will continue to be synced.
-
As long as your LAN computer runs the server, yes. It should work
-
He WISHES that was his girlfriend That pic has been floating around on the internet for years.
-
Well, since teams are still not established, anyone will be able to enter your car as long as you slow down enough for them to enter. Assuming we can get it working 100% that is. I doubt any other animations will be synced, but I will not promise anything. Exceptions will never be gone completely, from what we know as of now. We are hoping they are less, that is all.

This sounds like you have a problem with your "sys-libs/lib-compat" library or it is not installed at all. That is required at the current stage, so maybe go about the appropriate steps to enable / install it?
-
I will consider this, yes ... contact me via IRC and we will try to meet up and figure something out.
-
Great, glad you like it. Lets hope we can continue to bring the public more versions of this awesome mod!
-
Essentially, we are memory hacking GTA to read and write what we want, when we want to. It is a lot of work to find the addresses and is a huge project. You have to be extremely dedicated and although it sounds like I am boosting our egos, you have to be fairly knowledgable in programming.

ERROR: Unable to open existing Banned IP list. Starting clea
Cray replied to a topic in General MTA:VC
Well, somewhat. The Server will not write the banned.lst file if there are no bans to write (same for rewriting the file). So, if you were to press the ban button and actually ban a user, then yes the file would be created as there will be something in the file now.
