um there is no main.scm in the skins folder, and there is no skins folder anyway i dont know what you're talking about. GTASA doesnt features a skin installing feature without modding the game itself

The 'Third party mods' section did become SP mods only, but it was becoming an advertisement place for other multiplayer mods. The only active topics there were gtat, sa-mp, rumble etc etc and we tried to discourage this without success. The mod team have tried to avoid these sorts of topics in the past but recently activity in the community has increased with vast more references to sa-mp and its hard to moderate it all, im sure its the same on the sa-mp forums. We dont like to delete posts when people are trying to express their opinion, but at the same time we dont want to cause damage between the communities - something that is hard to draw a line between. As for this topic - its likely to be locked soon judging by the way this is heading.

Rainstorm it sounds like aproblem with the mod rather than the patch. I see no reason why the game would crash. Have you tried installing anything else?

I wanted stingers as powerups in race, it would have been great. It wasnt added though (mind you more pickups were planned than the one in the current release) Suprisingly enough though, spike strips have been looked into...

Gas tank explosions are disabled because they are overpowered, and it will most likely remain this way.

Pickups can be placed, yes. Ammo can be defined and weapon type. I would advise you just place an object with a name "Pickup" for now so you can use the co ordinates for the new syntax of weapon pickups.

I wouldnt mind trivia while i play. As long as you have to do something like !add and it doesnt spam your chat unless you participate (i.e. you use Admin PMs instead, though this isnt possible with sa)

Thats almost exactly what Ransom showcased above - it just hasnt been fully implemented for secuirty reasons.

I think he means custom skins erorr, not clothes. This feature was actually taken out of SA so no it wont exist

i particularly like the selections. I think the Forum banner should go elsewhere though it seems out of place - it hardly represents a community forum. Personally i think it should go to the unfinished competition page, it seemed much more in place there.
