They don't just do programming projects either; I was thinking of doing some writing projects but I realised that I didn't have enough time to put into them.

i havent heard of that game, but that's a nice idea. ive suggested dynamicaly changing pickups/spawns/vehicles while players are in the game before (based on a time-limit or player-vote), and dynamically changing boundries would also be great. Battle Royale is a Japanese film about some schoolchildren sent to an island where they have to kill everyone else within 3 days otherwise they die. It's just begging to be made into a computer game. The part I was referring to was that every day, a new area of the island would become a "danger zone" and everyone would die if they didn't leave it.

MTA used to have progress bars too but they removed them because people speculated too much and it was impossible to predict a release date from the current progress percentage.

But anyway, they're releasing some aspects of Vista for XP users - IE 7, the file system, DirectX, Avalon (I think, or it might be Aero). Edit: Btw, Windows releases tend to get slower and slower (although technology gets faster and faster so no-one really notices) - just try running Windows 95 on your PC (if you can) and watch how fast it goes.

I only use it for driving and flying. Btw, if you don't want to use the controller exclusively, set it to keyboard control and add the control buttons manually in the redefine keys menu.

Yep, I use a USB controller. I'm not certain if you'll be able to use it with MTA though as there were issues with this in the past. Hopefully it'll be ok.
