Theres no intention on pushing out an early, poorer quality release. There has been a schedule of estimations for completion of tasks by certain dates, and this will continue to be the case. SAMP doesnt pose a threat to MTA's release popularity no matter when it comes out. The quality of this video alone will have lots of people waiting and watching for the release (imo).

Indeed.. all you accomplish here is throwing some dirt on their name, but this happens so often that its rarely noticed, besides extreme or multiple cases.

Obviousness is relative to the observer.. and there are some foolish people in MTA. It just can't be done because people could manipulate the tags too much. It would take alot of extra work just so you can use "<" without risk. The standard gang tag was defined with "[ ]" ages ago in mtavc for a similar reason... problems with { } brackets (pm'ing players, wasnt it?). I suggested VCP start using [ ] and other gangs eventually switched to, as they were obviously the best alternative.

i looked through the thread rather briefly and noone seemed to give a possible reason why you are getting 20 fps instead of 25... well theres alot more strain for mtasa. You have 32 players synced in 32 cars all synced together along with custom objects and moving pickup icons. I get a big drop in fps at starting lines but when things spread out it works nice. You may have to face the fact that your pc just can't handle it. I know a lot of people got low fps on my "destruction derby" map, its not surprising as 32 vehicles stay clustered in the same general area around extra created objects.

I can see this being done by scripts (if you mean mta3/vc), initiate the team function, other person can be asked yes/no if they want to team... and they have to answer before they can kill. If they break that rule or kill after saying yes they would die themselves or possibly get a worse fate... depending on if the script has money or something

The controversy makes the game so popular, aside from the greatness it contains. Everyone wants to be a rebel and play the big kids' game. As long as they are not held back by laws they will continue (in a half reasonable fashion) to tell people like Jack Thompson to off, while avoiding law suits. I think this game doesn't promote violence, rather promotes natural selection. Even as a little kid you should have some common sense to know whats unacceptable from gta, if you don't then blame it on the parenting.

mm I dont know the answer but I can confirm to you that these problems have been argued in Vice City I know for sure, where on foot racing was done to show that one was faster than another (mostly gangwar argumentive stuff). Some said frame limiter, others said frame limiter doesnt give any advantage and only makes it look faster for fighting/driving (doubt that)... no idea really. Another thing, its been noted that dual processors are making those users faster than normal.
