  1. Just wondering, I think GTASA was the best. I think I like Liberty City Stories more than Vice's, and ole GTA3 jingle is last place to me.

  3. well im sure whatever happens is gonna look glitchy... bounce off each other, derail, and/or explode most likely. For this reason perhaps the team wont even allow more than 1 train per track to avoid collision.

Testers are usually old members of the community that have been around a long time and have shown maturity and trust (this doesnt mean a join date it means interacting with the community ingame, forums, & irc). Testers are always picked, never applied for. We look for as much testers as we can find but to trust someone with not leaking software that a group of individuals poured days of work into is very tough. Therefore we let people in that we know have a minimal chance of leaking. For example, some nice guy thats played and helped people for three years and become friends with some of the team isnt likely to just say HAHA IM LEAKING or get pissed off and retaliate by leaking. Ya know?
  6. Well my quick answer would be check http://www.tigerdirect.com http://www.newegg.com and maybe http://www.ebay.com ebay will always give you a ballpark as some sell new. Also if you click advanced and checkmark "completed auctions only" you can see generally how much they go for new&used (the reasonably good buy).
  7. All software usually just gets worse... as more features come it gets more bogged down and buggy. Winamp and media player are prime examples.

  9. mmm thats sad to hear... I've also hit object limit barriers a few times for both modes and its annoying. In my deathmatch map right now I'm really strecthing the limits with somewhere around 350 objects plus 30 vehicles. I'm always campaigning for higher object limits and maximum customization in general because I know the more space for customization, the more amazing user creations will be. Its a tough problem to solve but eai is trying to use a new method to allow 1000's of objects. Hopefully it comes through.

  15. you cant just say 'tada unlimited objects' tons of games have these limits and they are there because without them you get crashes and other undesirable effects (in this case another effect is frequent unloaded objects). Unless the coding can be improved it will stay this way. Working with GTA without the source its a challenge though.

  20. Whats the limits say on the debug? If your going super fast with tons of objects its liable to crash... run it while you go down and watch the numbers jump.

    Just hope the next one includes it.. thats the only way I see that ever actually happening.
