heck, with some custom scripts, people could design their own auto-kick for their server, register names, even have an admin-bot!

a good rule of thumb for all you polite people: don't shoot inside the airport terminal. unless the spawned person tries to shoot you first. then it's open season.

i have the same problem, just play for a while, ask if anyone is really playing. sometimes when you join, the radar doesnt work right away, but it will eventually

the people who play enough mta can tell the difference between extreme lag and cheating. in that situation you just have to explain, (non-defensivly) that on your screen, the other person was just punching air. or not doing anything. people will understand, and if they don't, don't worry about it. you don't have to prove anything.

that would be awesome. its a great idea, it would definitly help everyone out.

the idea of a cleaner for the vice city folder would be great. it would help stop cheating if it was activated every time mta starts. a little invasive, maybe, but it would definitly make cheating harder

just use ase, and the occupied servers with good pings are the ones you'll find us in

vck, one of the odest and established gangs, is always recruiting: HOW TO GET RECRUITED: 1:play mta 2:dont suck at mta, and definitly don't cheat 3:play mta with a vck member on the same server 4:impress us. this doesnt mean with just skill, we also look at attitude 5: ask a vck member, or be asked by a vck member

x box mta is impossible, like many people have said before this thread, and in this thread. however, i wonder if the linux distro for xbox will run the server....

also, make sure you type in the network ip, not the other one

asthetic mods, like changeing your skin, doesnt effect gameplay, and is perfectly acceptable, however, map mods, handling mods, or any mod that effects the game is completetly wrong, and if you are caught using them, you will be probably be kicked, and possibly banned from the servers.

if it was up to me, id have a central list that all mta servers check full of every name and ip of every damn cheater ever.

no dont share how to do it, and dont do it yourself. we are not impressed that you know how to cheat in mta, we all know that it can be done, we are just considerate and honorable enough not to

and my stance is that if i see anyone cheating, under any circumstances, they are going on my s**tlist. what my*hi*list is for, i cannot say, but it involves that midget stripper.
