gta2 multipayer was laggy at best. gta1 ran fairly smooth. but i'm a little onesided, cause i just didnt like gta2 in general as much as the rest of em. still fun to play, just not as much

yeah, apparently they made it run better under win32.

poor kid, i guess thats what not playing gta as a kid does to ya. im sure everyone knew about gta1 being released for free, but thanks for trying. now go play it! it's multiplayer is better than gta2.

i suggested that peds not be synced. but i also said that any physics code should be removed so the peds have absolutely no effect on the game (that includes bullets) so they are there, they just dont do anything, cept walk around, talk, and maybe get hit by cars (without effecting the car's trajectory)

it's not whos done first, it's whos is better. and in the event of a tie: mta's community is huge in comparison to gtat, so i truly think more people will play the mta version. mta is not about to release something early just cause of outside pressure......................................oh wait...

thats why this multiple forum idea is such a good alternative

yeah, chrome has the right idea. the new gangs can do whatever they want, then as soon as they show that they're serious, they get moved on up. everyone gets to post unhindered, and the real gangs get recognition.

sorry to hear you had such a bad experience with mta.with a little reading, some of those problems could have been solved. you sounded fairly respectful while telling us your displeasure with the mod, so i wouldnt mind running into you later on, when the mod runs better. (p.s. he was just telling us his opinion, which everyone has a right to, so please, minimal flaming)
