posty is correct, when people mod/cheat it causesa more game errors, and when the syncing starts to go, vc crashes from getting data that doesnt agree with eachother. any experienced mtaer will tell ya that

the knoppix disk comes with a full version of the x server, and contains graphical browsers that do work with hotmail, instead of ssh, you can do a remote login.

also, we should mention that the location of the server often has an effect over the other people pings. if youre in the uk, then someone in canada wouldn't get as good a ping as someone next door on the same type of connection.

the server admin tool that deathb pointed you to is how you would kick/ban/use mtama. but first you will have to edit the server config file to enable it and tell it what port/password/names are allowed to admin. it's good to see someone who cares about keeping their server secured from lamers. Deathb is right though. people who have been playing mta for a while can tell the difference between a cheat and a glitch, there are subtle clues that someone is using a health cheat, but more often than not it's always lag. other cheats are easy to spot, like flying cars, weapons, altered handling (cars that go a billion miles per hour, or fly up really high when hit, or can plow through a car without flintching)

now we all know that if some moron is using a gang tag, it doesn't always mean they were accepted into tht gang. rr could be another victim of the guys overpowering lameness. if not, rr should realize their mistake, and should pay a little more attention before accepting people.

the roof that surrounds the yellow chopper is great for defending (unless there are helicopters) construction site is a nice place for small battles movie studio is great for team battles and, only some people will know what im talking about, but fighting on the rock near mr. cement shoes is great
