Do you actually know what we mean with it?

When you look at the fact that in general about 10% of surfers uses Fx and for us it is about 50% that tells me that a lot of people that visit our site have some knowledge about how to browse the web in a decent way and are probably as annoyed as i am with all those ad infested sites these days. So saying that most of our visitors are not smart and just kids is wrong and insulting for most.

Yes, the server does slow down from time to time and no we do not know why. As far as we known it should not happen. We have a sponsored server and a nice, clean, adfree site. Not many people can say that. Until recently I daily visited a belgian website about gaming. Everything they have (high speed server, a lot of bandwith, ...) is sponsored by my ISP (so I am paying for it) yet the admins of the site decided that besides the big ad banners on top and on the side they now should place a big google ad in the center of the content area. We have been fortunate by the fact that our server is sponsored by game-monitor and that all ASE has requested in return is a button on our site. I do not see why we should pollute our site with ads when we have what we need. And in the end more and more people are having an adblock system anyway. And be honost, who here clicks those freaking ads?

Because we have not yet reached the beta stage but are still in alpha.And every release we have ever made is in fact a beta.

We can open a menu as well without actually pausing the game, the problem is that when you minimize GTA that the game itself freezes, therefore MTA freezes. And why would you want to go out of the game? To check your msn and miss the start of the next round? And yes, i do know of commercial games that do it the same way, not allowing you to minimize while in-game.

you simply can not write a program for the xbox and launch it, let alone interface with another one, unless you got an illegal modified box.

honestly, i hate an MOTD. When i enter a server in SOF2 and my screen gets filled with text their is nothing i can do, i can't move around cause i can barely see where i am going, don't see the enemy coming and always get shot while waiting for it to go away, and those damn server admins keep it on your screen for a while just because they added so much freekin text.

the racknet version used in race binds itself to all interfaces making the server work on every ip that the machine can be accessed with. This is a big problem for hosting companies and we are aware of the situation.

So what has happend since our last news post? * We improved sync on some areas. Not only making things smooth but also syncing things like vehicle damage, even when you just join. * Oli has added a full size radar map, this can be toggled by the press of a button. * MrJax has been working on team support. You can now send private messages to your entire team. * Something else that has been added is trailer support. No not movies but trucks. Both tow-trucks and and standard heavy trucks can carry other trailers, this extends from fuel tanks over to simple containers. * Off course we also want other types of transportation and we have also worked on trains. * Oli has also worked on the admin system, it has received a complete rewrite. It is more versatile both ingame as outside. Not only more commands but also easy to use for most people. You can connect in different ways. Ingame rcon, admin client and even telnet. The ban system has also been renewed, a ban can even be accompanied by a reason. * And Bishop from our QA team has also made a video.

GTA IV is gonna use the RAGE engine or Rockstar Advanced Gaming Engine, this is the same engine as has been used in "Rockstar Presents : Table Tennis". The tennis game was build as a test game to get some inhouse experience with the engine.

MTA will not work with WINE (or cedega or CXO) out of the box, we do have a theory on how to make it work but we simply can not input the time to make it work.

Well you could split the iso into pieces, but you would need to combine them again to install the game, a second problem is that GTA checks for the original disc when the game starts. Best solution : buy a new disc.

What i was actually refering to is that his death will not change much since he did no longer have an active role in plotting new actions. I have no problems with his death. however while we all know he is guilty and what he did, in my opinion he should have been broughtt court and trialed, not bombed. I would like to point out that Al-Zarqawi wasn't a terrorist leader anymore, he gave up that position a couple of months ago. This so he could concentrate more on the real work and the spiritual side of things
