I'm sure it's technically possible, but I seem to recall from previous discussions that some people had concerns about them affecting gameplay (although I can't remember specifically what their concerns were).
They're mini-games that you can unlock by buying a taxi at Ammunation which will take you to the game mode selection screen. Also note that these are only in Shoreside Vale, unless you count Turismo in Portland.
would you be able to use it with DevC++?
The tutorials are geared at MS Visual C++ but there's a fairly large C++ appendix in the back which teaches you general C++.
Is Capture the Weapon kind of like "The Man with the Golden Gun" on Goldeneye for the N64, where there was a super-powerful weapon hidden somewhere in the level and it could kill in one shot? Or, in this case, it's probably better if it gives you more points for a kill.
eAi said they may look into syncing peds after Blue (no promises though).
Also, since some people are not aware of this, to find out more about Blue, visit http://www.mtablue.info
Yep, it's taken them over a year just for VC so it would take forever if they made it for GTA3 as well. However, 0.5 has proven that there is a demand for GTA3 multiplayer so hopefully they will make Blue for GTA3 after San Andreas (although that all depends on how successful the Liberty City mod for Vice City is).
Maybe you could link it to MTAMA and work out when the player goes over the bridge then close MTA automatically and connect to another server by restarting MTA with command-line arguments.
Has anyone ever played "The Opera" for Half-Life (a mod)? I've never played it but it has slow-mo stuff and I'm pretty sure that it had multiplayer too, and the same with "Action Half-Life" if I recall correctly.
We shouldn't really talk about this kind of thing, but in order to get a crack working, you need to copy all of the audio files on CD 2 to the Vice City\Audio folder.
I'm sure you could borrow it off a friend or buy a version cheaply off eBay.
Also, in 0.5 Stunt, all cars are positioned at spawn points and not dotted around the islands (unless there are hidden ones that I haven't noticed) so it looks as if there are more.
It's difficult to rate it. It's a beta so your impression of the mod can be hampered by the bugs and issues. It is fun though.
If you like GTA3, 0.5 is the best version. If you like Vice City, people have said that 0.3 is the best. I don't think 0.5's that bad for VC deathmatch though. 0.5's good for VC Stunt as well.
