It's not due to a no CD crack. No-CD cracks are used on the exe, not the scm files. Try reinstalling MTA like it says. If that doesn't work, uninstall MTA, uninstall GTA (make sure ALL files have been deleted) and reinstall both. You might want to back up your single player savegames (if you have any) before you do this. They are located in your My Documents folder.

I think they have an SDK that you can download.

I know that they've worked on the chatbox for Blue, so maybe they added features like this.

No, that was something to do with MTAMA.

It's the shortcut that the installer put on the desktop so it should be correct.

I remember some people saying that they'd had a problem in Shoreside where they would spawn with only a pistol and baseball bat and not the weapon that they'd selected. I found that this seems to occur after you die and press enter quickly and you spawn before the selected weapon appears in the character's hand on the spawn screen.

That sounds like a VB error. Is that caused by the admin tool?

I seem to have loads of files called mtachat.txt dotted about my hard drive: Some of them only have one or two lines of text in them. Does anyone else have this issue or is it just me?

MTA:VC 0.5 seems to lag more anyway. GTA3 doesn't seem to for some reason.

It's outside the airport in Shoreside. To activate the game mode, go to an Ammunation place and buy a taxi. That will take you to the game modes menu where you can start it.

I like having ASE built in. Since MTA is the only game I play online, it seems pointless having to install a new application just to get servers for one game.

Or maybe it quits automatically with a dialog saying "Connecting..." which you can either just close or leave to restart the game automatically when it connects (you'd still have to go through the VC menu though).

Some profiles can't be viewed. I think that's due to avatars. It was meant to have been fixed but obviously wasn't. To view your post history, just do a search with your name in the "author" field and select "display results as posts".
