because some ppl will use it... you could argue like that for stunt mode on mta a lot of mta players dont use it so why is it there? because its a nice little feature (and i love it lol) How is it at all like stunt mode? People have a choice between stunt mode and deathmatch and most choose deathmatch. Stunt mode isn't annoying - it's a great mode that people use if they want to.

If everyone plays the same mod (and has the same advantages) then it can't be a cheat by definition.

It was fun to mess about with, but I can't see nudges and winks having any legitimate use - they'd just get really annoying after a while.

The reasons are: 1) People have different tastes. For some people, modding a car to go 300 mph is their idea of fun, but it takes the fun out of the game for me. 2) GTA has infinite gameplay possibilities. It would be impossible to cater for them all, and even if you could, MTA Blue wouldn't come out until about 2010. 3) Also, Blue's not going to be some half-hearted shell where you have to program your own game mode. They said that there will be many game modes shipping with Blue.

I was helping someone get MTA working, and he'd been stumped because he'd set the version to 1.0 when he was running 1.1 and couldn't work out why it crashed. Would it be possible to detect this error with the tool and display a message telling the user that they've set it to the wrong version? I think this would be a useful feature considering how many times that particular question is asked on the forum.

No, that wasn't the problem. We were discussing the probability of GTA:Liberty City actually releasing client and server mods for MTA Blue. Considering the release of the now discontinued cracked version of MTA which ran LC, this is highly probable.

I think you should be focusing on unique features rather than pure speed, as the site loads pretty quickly anyway. And if you don't have unique MTA forum-specific features, it's just IE as Blokker said.

You can only change it once you're connected to a server, which is why it was greyed out.

Don't you only need that if you have more than one network adapter (like a hosting company would)? If you only have one, just comment the line out by putting a "#" in front of it.
