Possible yes. Lots of things are possible with each new release not to mention each core. Wether we'd actually include it is another matter

A First Time For Everything?! (All Cars Collected!)
Si|ent replied to Guardians Proper's topic in VC Screens & Movies
Behind the airport terminal. If you ever went outside instead of spawn warring in there you'd know that! -
Can you..... Get in here?: Get the caddy up here?: Get a sanchez in here?: Duck quick enough?: Breakdance?:

Thats also a typo. Where he wrote located in UK he actually meant to write 'La-La Land'
-
Did you? Oh well. Just shows how wrong someone can be. Locked.

Im English and I don't know wtf *couth* is either. Mad_boy may not be british but he types and spells English a hell of a lot better than both curly and yourself so keep the insults to yourself thanks.

Things have been quiet on the news front for a while so i thought I would get you up to date on where things stand at the moment. The semi-public 04 beta test brought to light a few unexpected bugs, one of which was rather major involving the game freezing solid (GTA3) rather than crashing. It took us quite a while to identify what exactly was causing this and proved to be a nightmare to fix once discovered. But after more than two weeks hard work by several members of the team we have finally cracked it. The other problems whilst less major have also proven very tricky to overcome. At the moment we are in what we hope to be the final stages of preperation for release. This involves squashing a final bug that has come to light in MTA:VC and tying up the last few details into a complete package. We shall then hold at least one more Semi-Public test to give any other bugs the chance to come to light. If all go's well with these and the mod performs satisfactorily then preperations for release should begin. Unfortunatley we cannot give a timescale for any of these steps. This remaining VC bug may take a while to fix for instance, delaying the whole process. Or fresh problems may arise in the larger test(s). But rest assured progress is good at the moment and it is hoped that you guys and gals shall not have to wait too much longer. I can reveal that the initial release of 0.4 will support both VC and GTA3. The GTA3 section will feature gameplay on Portland only at first. Followed by a second and third release some time afterwards to support the other islands in Liberty City. Again there may be other releases required in between should any major problems arise. Such as version 0.3 r2 was required to fix the 'radar bug' that some suffered.

He does have a point though. We allowed multiple config support and overlooked the fact each server may need its own unique MOTD. We have a lockdown on features for 0.4 at the moment to try and get the first 0.4 version polished to a releasable point but your request is noted for later releases.

He can only do 30 minutes because wheelies are kinda bugged on the sanchez (the dirt bike as he calls it) Any meaningfull wheelies distance and time wise should be performed on one of the other motorcycles

Cool. Just found this thread. Was looking ot the General forum to give me a laugh and pick me up on this early morning, and as usual it hasn't dissapointed me As for stanton 'making a multiplayer mod' All I can say is thats a little like me deciding I'm going to build a new Town Hall. Me with no experience of building past gazing at building sites as I pass them and once owning a brick. I with no experience of town planning or civic buildings bar walking through some cities and appearing in court for a few minor motoring offenses. Not to mention the fact all the towns around here already have Town Halls. Anyway no more time to post here. I have building sites to visit and builders to shout 'can you tell me how to bricklay' at from a distance. Not to mention asking passers by if theyd like to join my exclusive and really exciting building team. (Maybe one will know how to plaster so I dont have to reveal I'm clueless in the field).

Bandwidth usage shouldn't be any higher than monitoring 5 servers with one mtama. Remember mIRC doesnt actually have to be connected to IRC for mtama to work.

Si|ent replied to Si|ent's topic in Leagues and events
I've been really busy with all sorts of stuff lately not least 0.4 work, so havnt been able to devote any time to gang stuff be it TEA or VCA. I got your pm Oli and i think asking another TEA member if they can take over some of the arranging is a good idea. Will speak to peeps and see if anyone fancies it. -
Suggestions for .4 * .4 suggestions closed*
Si|ent replied to Iggy's topic in General GTA3:MTA 0.4 Discussion
As lag is an issue for all players no matter what ping they have and one high pinger wont effect other players pings like it does in most online games that seems a little harsh. However if you must be a Bandwidth Bigot you can always use mtama to warn then kick players with certain pings. -
JoStud and MrBumps Used Autos - Open for business
Si|ent replied to Si|ent's topic in VC Screens & Movies
It's to prevent them posing as any member of the team. not just me. I don't use [MTA] for a few reasons. If i tag like that i get an endless stream of questions about 0.4, or why doesnt this or that work - when will - you should - how about doing.. etc. I'm there to play or check out possible cheaters not to be grilled. Also I am part of [VCA] so i use that tag when im not there with some made up name to check out a cheat report on the officials. -

Yeah i dont think you could even fit all the vehes where we where storing them. but then that wasnt what we were trying to do. it was how many could we get there at once whilst others where trying to stop us. stayed at 8 for a long time till we managed 14 as shown in the shots. then that swine got in with his molotov. p.s. i think you missed 3 cars. hard to tell from that distance -

yeah we had the sync probs. id see 3 cars parked then jo would roll up and park 'in' them cos he didnt see them hehe. But the real challenge was trying to keep the other peeps off our backs. turned into a gamemode almost. had to have 2 peeps protecting the stock at all times. and even then peeps only had to get one car in flames and boom start again. One smart guy landed his heli on the roof above and rained molotovs down on them. Another couldnt decide if he was helping or hindering so in the end we shot him on sight. -

Having become battle weary we looked for a new line of business to get into. Bounty hunting was getting tough. Always a new fresher kid around the corner looking to make an easy buck, thinking takign down old timers like us would give them the credibility they needed in these tough streets. Of course they rarely could. But it was tiring none the less. But what to do? Fast food joint? Bar? PR agent for the young up and coming racers? Then a noob was overheard lambasting the lack of vehicles where he stood at the time and like a lightbulb illuminating above our heads cartoon style the idea arrived. Gathering stock was tricky at first. People were none to pleased to have what they viewed as thier property stolen. But all property is theft right? So we were merely moving it along the foodchain. I already had the yard. It had been a favourite dueling arena of mine for a while. We began to gather the stock and test our parking skills. We took on some staff for the duration, Nick was ok but a little jumpy. Finally we'd gathered enough stock to open for business. Ok it wasn't gleaming Detroit metal and chrome you could see your distorted face in. But it was a start. 'Stack em high sell em cheap' as my Grandfather used to say (before the unfortunate tower of bricks accident) We sat back in our easy chairs waiting for the easy bucks to roll in. But seemed we had made a mistake thinking it would be this easy to get out of 'The Business' of killing. We'd both made some enemies and even those that hadn't crossed our paths before saw us as easy meat. Just second hand car dealers right? They got a shock and many fell adding thier fresh blood to the deep brown stains on the forecourt. But one was smart. He saw us distracted by an intruder and snuck past. A single two dollar home made molotov and the dream was gone. We didn't hang around for the encore. As we sprinted down the street pursuing the culprit we felt rather than heard the detonations thru the worn tarmac and we knew it had ben a crazy dream. Seems some things arent as easy to escape as we'd hoped. Once a killer, always a target. But then again. Theres always helicopters... To Be Continued.... (maybe)

Our wildcard is 0 rather than * so 123.456.0.0 for instance instead of 123.456.*.* This applies to Admin Tool and MTAMA.
