Gtatari
MTA has: http://www.multitheftauto.com http://www.mtavc.com http://www.mtasa.com ... I don't know about you guys, but I'm seeing a disturbing anti-gta3 trend. Why not make http://www.mta3.com or http://www.mtagta3.com or http://www.gta3mta.com domains that just go to a page about GTA3's mta implementation that links back to multitheftauto.com? Way to discriminate against the oldies. )>-GTAtari-<( Link to comment

MTA Team Blokker_1999 Posted February 15, 2005 MTA Team Share Posted February 15, 2005 the original name of the project was multi theft auto and it still is and it originally was for GTA3 only. Then we made mta:vc for GTA:VC and we regd that name as well, but these days it's just mta again ... Link to comment

Gtatari
Not sure if you noticed that http://www.mta3.com and http://www.gta3mta.com were already taken. I don't know much about registering a domain, but aren't those defualt redirects, and not actually 'sites', since no one has already registerd those domains? I mean, there's like one search engine that keeps comming up over and over when you type gibberish into ie.. I got one on my first try: http://www.asdasd.com/ when you right click it, the page source is for the domains sponser.. Ayway yeah my two cents. )>-GTAtari-<( Link to comment
Shib
I still think http://www.multitheftauto.com is better because it fits both games. Like http://www.mtavc.com just refers to VC.. Link to comment

I got one of my domains hijacked once. thank god he 'gave' it back with 1 year free hosting Link to comment

That's lame :\ how long has http://www.mta.com been registred ? lol what a total waste. MultiTheftAuto.com is fine for me. With mtasa.com people will know when they click the link, that this is the place where they can find MP for SA (If it'll be possible that is..) Link to comment
