finn_bryant Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 MYST!!!!!!!!!! Practically the first computer game that had animation and real 3D graphics (well, they were produced in 3D, the game consisted of a series of images) The music was the best ever in a game at the time. It was also really hard to beat. (i never actually did it) Then of course prince of persia ( i have the second edition, first to have colour, for the mac, its actually worth a fair bit for such an old game..... maybe and antique someday?) But then i found command and conquer and warcraft 2 (man they were fun) now mostly fps and gta. but i still have a go at an old arcade game now and again. Comet busters! I like my 2D combat.....
NazcaC2 Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 TBH, on my first ever computer (IBM 80086), my dad programmed a Hangman game which I became highly addicted to when I was around three.
Oyst3r Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 I was addicted to Team Fortress Classic for about 5 years. The last summer, I was addicted to Garry's Mod and MTA VC. Later on in the summer, I got San Andreas. I was very additced to that with all the modding and stuff... then I got Battlefield 2. Now im addicted to San Andreas and MTA VC.

s0beit Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 Officially, on my own PC: Red Alert 2 / GTAIII unofficially on my cousin's PC, rollercoaster tycoon.
zerb Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 Monkey Island: The secret of monkey island Ha, i do remember for the smallest memories actually playing that game on the old Atari ST, which was obviously my fathers back then. Low commerical interest on that game died out quite quickly towards the Sega CD released. The game also had a brief spell on some of my local computer stores, however that population of the PS2 died out very quickly with small interest from the public.
MAD_BOY Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 what's with all the 3d games, i'm dissapointed that not many people are naming the classics
Kamazy Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 Never really got addicted but, Commandos,C&C and GTA1 were some of my first fav games. [edit] Lets not forget Diablo.
Slothman Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 i was raised on 8-bit nes, but the first game that pulled me to pc was Duke Nukem 3d. WOW a 3d game set in realistic evironments and not just a bunch of mazes!!, and holy crap, this map editor is so easy to use!!
Moderators HAZJ Posted July 4, 2006 Moderators Posted July 4, 2006 well they were 3 at the same time Doom Doom 2 and Duke Nukem 3D
MeanpantheR Posted July 5, 2006 Posted July 5, 2006 Transport Tycoon and XCOM: UFO the gameplay in them are brilliant, still play them today
Georgije Posted July 5, 2006 Posted July 5, 2006 NFS because even when you win everything you can still go into time trial mode to improve your driving to perfection, you can't do that in newer NFSs. at the end my top 10 times on one track were within 0.8 seconds of each other
erorr404 Posted July 5, 2006 Posted July 5, 2006 Yeah the old NFS's were much funner than the new ones imo.
gooch Posted August 8, 2006 Posted August 8, 2006 Definetly the Sims when it first came out OR maybe Roller Coaster Tycoon, thats a great great game.
