yes there are cheaters in gta3. i havent seen any weapon hackers much (as in all weaps) and any health cheats, its mainly all sppedhackers and carmods I've also seen some weapon and hp cheats in GTA3, but nowadays I see little of cheating. There really ain't many servers for them to irritate any longer

MTA works on the internet and on LAN, sometimes MTA doesn't get detected automaticly by ASE (never does get detected for me.) You can add it through filter/configure games.. scroll down to 'Multi Theft Auto' under the uninstalled games, let it search for the MTAclient.exe and it should be added in the All Seeing Eye, F5 for refresh! have fun

I've noticed huge sudden slowdowns in GTA III recently, drops down to about 5 fps for 10-20 secs. My gfx card is a nVidia FX 5600, 256 mb RAM. Putting forth the menu removes the lag instantly, maybe there's something with nVidia's new beta driver that I'm using, never had this problem before. I'm also getting this 'error reading GTA III DVD' < let there be said, I use a no-cd anyway can't be bothered to reinstall MTA and GTA right now but that will probably sort out some of the issues.

hmm you often see the blips on the hotel since the player models are stacked up there. This means nobody is ingame. If you want to get coloured blips, the 1.1 patch can be found here Other than that the patch only fixes gfx corruption, which is fixed in the newest video drivers anyway

Willkommen, very fastly installed, just get the client < 1,18 mb. It will also have the server selectable in the install, remember to untick GTA3 if you don't have it likewise for VC. The browsing for servers is done with The All Seeing Eye just add Multi Theft Auto through 'Filter/Configure games' under uninstalled games. If it gets detected automaticly then that's fine. Alternativly you can use Game-Monitor for browsing The game is well worth buying!

ah I think it would be a bad move to cancel work on a VC version, remember there's still a lot of time before SA is released for the PC. remember 'a buggy version' is better than no version!

Sometimes lost packets will not count certain kills and show your text, although other people can read the text, it won't appear in your textbox. This doesn't happen that often though.
