  1. looks good, and is obviously based upon aeron's map
  2. did you install any C++ custom mods and not uninstall them, such as GTA Rumble? These may conflict with memory addresses and stop GTA from starting in mta, and uninstalling GTA wont remove such mods. Look for any .dlls in your gtasa directory which contain 'd3d9.dll' or 'd3dx9' and remove them.
  3. i was very suprised these werent in r1 to be honest, and i would bet on them being in 1.1
  4. The cover the 2.0 should say "Second Edition" on the cover, i believe.
  5. acid, i much prefer the original font for the Multi theft auto text. I also think that the CJ screenie doesnt show much compared to what's there on the current banner. The current banner shows what mta is about, the biking, then shooting, and cars colliding. The CJ shot just seems a little irrelevant there. I also think it lacks variety, it needs a bit of cars in it, all three of the pictures are a front shot of the characters from each game. Sorry to be so critical, but it's just what i think. However, i think that the forum NEEDS a new logo
  6. id love to try this, is it up on the server?
  7. GGRRRRR * MTAMA:GRS isnt compatible with MTASA * MTAMA was created by Aeron * Oli now works on the MTA server, NOT grs * Tommis is now creating a GRS like script...General Use scripts now READ
  8. I remember eAi saying that you'd be able to switch gamemodes on the server live.
  9. Well, does the 360 controller work as a controller AT ALL? If you can hook it up and install some sort of drivers to detect then im sure itd work. You cant expect GTA to detect the controller if your PC doesnt
  10. As long as your PC detects the 360 controller as a PC gamepad, im fairly sure it'd work
  11. No, MTA:MA GRS is not compatible with MTA:SA. However, Tommis has started developing one for MTA:SA, more information here http://forum.mtavc.com/viewtopic.php?t=15552
  12. i just updated it so you may need to download it again.
  13. the problem with SA is that there are no corners. I could imagine someone running endlessly, and being annoying. It's a good idea, but i think it needs adaptation for SA...integration of cars etc.
  14. I am 90% sure that the no hot coffee patch changes .dlls that come along with the .exe. I am also fairly sure replacing simply the .exe will work with MTA. However, i have heard that this causes crashes in single player from somewhere, and other adverse affects. This patch however patches the .dlls too. I also have updated the patcher, it now supports everything i would like it to support. This also means USA 2.00 support
  15. or apply the downgrader patch http://forum.mtavc.com/viewtopic.php?t=15151
  16. lol, i wonder where you got the idea from. I just wonder if it can be made as tense as the game itself
  17. A: uh yeah, thanks *eats* Q: OMFG, WHAT THE HELL IS IN THIS BANANA?
  18. IJs spent a long while today installing a new post measurement hack! I critisised it when he first thought of installing it but its actually really neat. Its nice to how how much space some of the reject users are bloating up so wojjie can delete them when he wants to install that new game .
  19. There is no point in further discussion. Imn8r, if you are using the speedhack in public servers then you are breaking the EULA, so you can understand why some are fustrated at this. However, you did do the honourable thing of handing over the hack to the Dev team, so i see no reason why he should be regarded as a 'noob' if you like Imn8r: Since there is no way I can stop using the speed tool, id appreciate if you kept the tool to yourself, and if you would like to use it, keep it for private use only in your own servers so it does not affect public gameplay. I'm sure the MTA team will do everything they can to stop this speedhack from working in future.
  20. We did consider this a long time ago at the release of SA but felt that it was easier modding the Vice City game, since we had all our tools readilly available, as well as a number of other points However, right now i think maybe its worth converting to San Andreas, it will give our mod more focus and attention from the community, and since not much of the mod has been converted into the Vice City game, maybe it isnt too late to change. On the other hand, lots and lots and lots of skinning was done based on Vice City skins, which would be a massive waste. Right now i think itd be best to change to San Andreas, but i honestly am not sure and itd be something we have to discuss as a team. If we do stick to Vice City, it'll probably mean its easier to mod, and to add some of the extra stuff that we wanted to do If we change to San Andreas, we'll have to do lots of research of the game like we had to do with Vice City, and get used to different mod tools etc, though we'd most likely have more community support for SA, and with MTA's nice little map editor maybe it'd make life easier
