It sounds like you've set ASE to run gta-vc.exe instead of MTAClient.exe.

... because it didn't patch that problem. I've never seen that error before. Editing the file's easy and offers more options than the config utility. Just browse to your MTA\Server directory (default: C:\Program Files\Multi Theft Auto\Server) and open the mtaserver.conf file in Notepad. There are comments inside the file that explain what each feature does and how to change them.

Yeah, spectator mode's quite useful for that (probably).

This is a bug in 0.5 which will be fixed in 0.5.1. The program will try to connect to the internet to obtain a new MOTD upon startup. If you don't have internet access, it will crash. The fix is listed in the Known Issues thread: http://forum.mtavc.com/viewtopic.php?t=11098

Some cracks cause problems, particularly those with "extras" such as blood patches. There are also problems with censored versions of GTA, namely German and Australian ones.

It's difficult to sync the peds without making it really laggy. Heck, it's laggy now - imagine how much more it would lag with pedestrians and cars going around.
