  1. I actually meant 0.5.1 VC (judging from the screenshots, of course).
  2. There's a very nice interactive map here: http://forum.mtavc.com/viewtopic.php?t=11876
  3. Yeah, they also name their lines after colours too, one of which (as you've probably guessed) is called the MTA Blue Line.
  4. Hmm... that's interesting. The previews said that they wouldn't specifically support modding (i.e. with an SDK) but they wouldn't protect against it either.
  5. MTA: San Andreas will use the Blue core so lag will be reduced. I'm not sure whether it will be 56k-friendly though.
  6. Rockstar has created a PC mini-site for SA with exclusive screenshots: http://www.rockstargames.com/sanandreas/pc/
  7. Lol, "caning their bandwidth" means putting a massive load on it.
  8. It should work with an Athlon 64 in 32-bit XP. I don't think it's been tested in 64-bit XP yet, but I recall someone who was beta testing XP 64 said ages ago that MTA had problems with it.
  9. I believe kyeman said that he's hoping to create a simple and fun multiplayer mod whilst the MTA team is hoping to create something that's moddable. And that's infinitely harder to create and test. Anyway, I'll definitely play this when it comes out. Btw, in the video, were they playing over a LAN or the internet?
  10. Check the date as well
  11. I think he may have been talking about SSV. The difference between VC and SSV is that you spawn as a specific gang (e.g. Yakuza) in SSV whereas you spawn as a specific character in VC. As there is only one skin per gang though, I really don't see what difference it makes.
  12. That movie was pretty cool.
  13. Most web hosts will say no because of the massive amount of bandwidth it will use (in comparison to a web site).
  14. I agree, but who's to say what the "right" steps are?
  15. Don't forget that this is just one large beta. You're just testing out the team's experiments.

    Envy

The "contact the moderators" button is designed for such complaints.
  17. I think he means "why didn't it blow up?" That's the shallow water in the park that you can drive through without damaging your car.
  18. If the devs think it's a good idea and it's technically feasible, they'll include it. I believe Staunton was designed as more of a stunt-type map, but it was more of a last-minute thing so its potential hasn't been exploited. Personally I'd like to see what they plan to do with it.
  19. I've seen way more than ten. And I said 0.4.1 was more likely to. I didn't delete it (I didn't even see it) but whoever did obviously did it for a reason.
  20. It's something we don't currently offer and as far as I'm aware, there are no plans to. P.S. The poll was unnecessary so I removed it.
  21. Staunton definitely needs something, but I'm not sure if this is it.

    HELP PLZ

German versions don't work because the exe is censored (the same with Australian versions too).

    Invalid executable!

Blood fixes screw things up. And no, not all 1.1 no-Cd cracks have it. Try playing with the original CD and it will probably work.
  24. You can get emulators that can run PC programs. I know that PC emulators for Linux don't work with MTA though so I'd presume that it doesn't work with Macs either.
