Wtf? Why all the hatred? Truth is, they're asking you to search because they don't really know a solution to your problem. That's what I do. It's easier to make someone else look stupid than admit that you don't know. There's no clear-cut solution to this. Some things worked for some people, some didn't. One thing to do is uninstall MTA, uninstall GTA and make sure that all GTA and MTA program files are gone (sometimes some are left over) and then reinstall. This is what the Known Issues thread says: That doesn't seem to work for everyone though. Note: you need to reinstall GTA and MTA and then backup the files. Good luck.

Try reinstalling GTA3 or make sure that you specified the correct GTA3 directory when you installed MTA.

built-in serverlist just works fine here, sure that you weren't using the lan version? Nope. This was a while ago though. Gamespy Arcade was dead for Tribes 2 as well. That's why I stopped playing the game. On topic: For those who haven't seen them yet: http://www.3dgamers.com/screenshots/gam ... ltourn2k7/

What does it do? Does it just enable you to chat with people in a server without firing up the client or are there buddy tracking facilities?
-
Correction: You cant mod MTA:VC until Blue. You can mod single player though.
-
You'd think some people hadn't even read the information about Blue . Or the previous 6 pages of this topic...

To be honest, I don't think anyone ever knows what Master73 means.

New Dynamic Image For MTA Stats (not the game-monitor one)
orappa replied to {aVC}TonyB's topic in General MTA discussion
That's pretty good, but how come people never link their dynamic sigs to the mta:// address of the server so you can connect easily? It seems the logical thing to do. -
Upgrade to what? Dynamix has been shut down and the source code has been "lost" so there have been no updates in the past 2 years or so.

Another bit from Jordan's visit to E3. Most interestingly: http://www.planetgrandtheftauto.com/e3/ ... s/thecrew/

Aren't pod racers from Episode 1? If so, they're focusing on the original trilogy.
-
Nah, that only applies to Catholics. Protestants are generally ok about contraception. Haha, that's great.
-
Jordan from PlanetGTA had the priviledge of interviewing Rockstar representatives at E3. Here are some of the questions, but I'd advise that you check them all out as I found all of them interesting. http://www.planetgrandtheftauto.com/e3/ ... s/preview/

How come?

You can still play it but you can't use the built-in server list (or at least you couldn't last time I tried).

I'm helping a user on GameFAQs and he needs help
orappa replied to Vicer/Spitfire's topic in Questions
He really needs to give more info. It sounds like he's using something like Norton Internet Security. It's probably easier to direct him here rather than acting as a go-between with another site. -
Yes, but the PS2 had multiplayer on the same machine. They had no kind of netcode at all. Also, as MTA:SA will be running from the Blue core, they'll obviously have to have the core finished before they can start work on it and that may not happen until several months after the release of SA.

That's not true. There are other mods such as SA-MP, which looks promising. That's what id Software did with Doom 3. It's perfectly acceptable. You seem to have pulled these "statistics" out of thin air. There are many reasons why people should choose the PC version over the console ones. My main reason is that fact that I don't own (and have no desire to) a console. More reasons: http://www.planetgrandtheftauto.com/fea ... ofchanges/

So you're saying, her pc won't crash or start up again, or... No, that disables the stupid "feature" enabled in XP by default that automatically restarts the PC when you encounter a critical error so that you can't see what the error says (and sometimes you can recover from it anyway).

It works for me. Try pressing Ctrl + F5 so that it reloads the page instead of loading the cached version. P.S. Quoting the entire page was unnecessary so I removed it.

Just in case people weren't aware, mtavc.com is now back up again.
-
Does anyone know the dimensions? It looks massive in that pic.

Well, I know how to stop the rebooting. Go into System properties, click on the Advanced tab, click Settings under the Startup and Recovery section and "Automatically restart" under the System failure section. What are your girlfriend's specifications btw? There was a post a couple of days ago by a guy who said he could play MTA for hours without crashing whilst on 640x480 but when he raised the resolution, the crashes became more frequent.
