  1. MTA is a program which basically hacks the game's memory. It is in a beta stage which means that crashes are to be expected.
  2. I don't have a problem with it. You're entitled to your opinion, and just for the record, I do respect what he has done. Anyway, back on topic, has anyone tried this yet?
  3. how sarcastic, do you have problems with the fact that i respect dracoblue, for all the hard work he has done? i also respect his attitude, he's always happy, and isn't arrogant, a lot of ppl around here could learn from that. Actually that's not sarcastic at all. I said you see Draco as God which you didn't deny. I didn't say I had a problem with that. I didn't say it was untrue. I didn't say I didn't respect him.
  4. I think the only reason he's promoting it is because it's made by DracoBlue, who happens to be God in his eyes.
  5. It's a private listing which means that when they leave feedback, you won't be able to see which item it was for. Someone left feedback yesterday for a private item that said "OK. No complaints" - that could be it. If it's a seller in the UK, I doubt it'll be baseball cards.

    Cheating/lag

You can't get rid of the 10 second delay and if you did, you'd probably be automatically banned by the server for flooding. You can capture video using Fraps: http://www.fraps.com
  7. Ok, I added Bump's suggestion myself as requested. If you need me to make any corrections / additions, just ask.
  8. Oh yeah. That would make a great mini game (hint, hint).
  9. You have a pirated version of GTA, don't you?
  10. Since you obviously missed this part, I'll quote it: I'd prefer that they spent time developing 0.5.5 rather than making fancy movies. Also, as Blokker said, things are liable to change during development. They're wary of showing features that may not be in the final release for stability reasons. There are loads of examples of this during the course of MTA's history, such as the smoothness videos of 0.4 which had to be removed. Also people tend to speculate too much, such as Bump's screenshots of sync testing which used a custom scm with pedestrians left in. Lots of people thought this meant that peds had finally been synced for MTA.
  11. MTA in its present state does not support mods. If you want to play this mod with single player Vice City, I would suggest installing GTA to two separate locations and have one for modding and one for MTA.
  12. As Bump said, Blue has been completely redesigned, which meant taking it from 65% back to roughly 0% and up to 70% hence the time delay.
  13. I can see them. You are trying to edit the opening post aren't you?
  14. Does Draco have plans for a San Andreas version of GTAT?
  15. Will they release 0.5F soon? I mean, this topic was started in October.
  16. It's probably cheaper to buy a cheap DVD drive on eBay rather than expensive laptop RAM.

    Admin

The admin functions use a different port (default 4003), so you may have been trying to connect via the game port (default 2003). Have you also enabled admin server (either by editing the mtaserver.conf file or via the server wizard program, which should work now)? That was what I meant by more details.
  18. Jordan has written a summarised list of changes between the PS2 and PC versions. http://www.planetgrandtheftauto.com/fea ... ofchanges/ Serious Sam had support for 4 players on the same keyboard...
  19. It sounds like you have a PC that is very close to the minimum requirements for GTA.
  20. An IP address is just the address of the server that you want to connect to. Click the "Servers" button to open the server browser which will display a list of available servers. Choose one you like, double-click it and then click Start Game. You will then be asked to browse for your GTA executable file. Default location for VC: C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\GTA Vice City\gta-vc.exe Default location for GTA3: C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\GTAIII\gta3.exe Once that's done (assuming all goes well), GTA will start and you will be presented with the main menu. Select New Game and then Start Multi Theft Auto in order to play.
  21. You can filter based on the mod; I'm not sure about the server name though. Easy enough to add it via Blue's modding capabilities though. P.S. Search for "glue" and you'll find loads of topics. There was a fairly recent one that talked about helis.
  22. It definitely has been mentioned before with helis. There are more than 3 threads on the subject.
