I like doing structured play with my friends. That way if anyone ever interrupts our game, they don't stand a chance.
The 4:20 guys are alright, one time they all gathered on top of this building and the rest of us tried to wipe them all out. It was good fun on both sides.
Try installing MTA 0.3. I've heard from some people that they experienced the radar bug after updating to 0.3rc2, but never experienced it in 0.3. Whatever works for you, I guess.
It's Half-Life, not Counter-Strike. Interesting ideas, both of them. I myself am a Half-Life immigrant and I think the map system could be made to work as well.
Well, Killing, there already is an motd.txt in the server directory. I don't know how useful an motdfile directive would be. Changing the motd file to a different one is simply be a matter of renaming.
There is just one problem with that, Splooge. The rules. By using cheats you are in direct violation of the end-user license agreement that many don't bother to read. Violating any EULA is against the law. I'll leave it at that.
Why don't you try this, Wheelman:
1. Go to C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc
2. Open the file "hosts" in notepad
3. Add a new line like so:
127.0.0.1 forum.mtavc.com
4. Save

FreeBSD has had linux compatibility stuff in portage for a long time. I used to run old FreeBSD 4.6-Release, and during the installation process it asked me if I wanted to install linux compatibility.
Maybe next time you should try something yourself before you tell other people it can't be done.
