No way. A vote kick system would be putting power into these idiots who whine about "cheating"'s hands. You gotta think about it from the server admin's point of view. What do you think, admins? Do you think a vote kick system would be convenient for you? Would you be willing to put your trust in people you haven't even talked to? Do you think people would use the vote kick system honestly? How do you know people won't abuse the system? Too many risks involved.

Right on! Someone finally said it all! Some of you server admins should outlaw this whining. It is plain annoying. (This is also another reason to never add vote kicking to MTA. These idiots will take over and boot people every second) You really have to crack the whip on these people that are whining. In every game I play, all I hear is: "(Insert Team) are for n00bs." I run Half-Life servers for my friend, and he never allows anyone to say that kind of stuff. Always works for us

Actually, if you look at the screens that were posted (LoL using a trainer managed to get up to the place where you choose your character), there is a Cheetah parked parallel to the characters in the character selection screen. And I guess the door opening noise is that Love Fist guy getting out who is standing on the right side of the Cheetah.

Yeah, the MTA team rocks. What makes them different from other mod teams I have come across is that these guys listen to people's opinions. Some mod developers/beta testers/moderators I've come across look down upon their clients and usually work to satisfy themselves more than the clients. They only listen to other developers. On one board I have even seen them BAN for starting suggestion threads! The moderator there had absolutely nothing to do with the actual mod and was just a forum cop. The rest of the moderators were rude and stuck up. They deserved a swift kick to the nads. Because those are the type of developers I was used to seeing, I was flabbergasted when I saw the number of suggestion threads on this forum, especially ones started by the team members themselves. I was also surprised how involved each developer and beta tester was in the forum. The moderators were fair in their decisions, too. I also noticed that in this forum people were willing to help a new player instead of harrassing the person by saying "STFU n00b and use the f___ing search button." This kind of response a major turn off for a new player. Oi, I've rambled for quote a few paragraphs now. Keep it up everyone: developers, testers, and community members too. Stay gold, stay clean, and most of all, stay happy

It does take a while to learn to push Start Game. Before we were used to double clicking in ASE, minimizing, and starting Vice City without looking at the client window.

You probably had yourself set up with a hub. That would definately screw over your network. Besides, you can't trust these routers. The best way to do it is to use a unix router , never fails.

I say yes or no. Usually when I am playing with friends, we all choose one team and go against everyone else in the server...well, we don't really go against them, we just kill them if they decide to pick a fight with us.

I've noticed people accuse each other of trainer usage because they won't die after about 20 shots. I guess they just don't get it that their gun is weak.

I think it is great. Ever since I installed it, I have had better games than in 0.1.

I like the console a lot. Makes things very easy. However, only command that it seemed to lack was a reconnect command. So I could do /reconnect if I get disconnected from the server so I wouldn't have to exit the game everytime.

This happened to me too.

For some reason, whenever I start a game, my character just moves forward on his own. Also, I don't get any of the starting logos when I start the game. I don't know what is going on. My guess is it has something to do with my settings, because this happens even after I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game.
