Exactly. Everytime I have run a vote kick system on my Half-Life servers, it has been nothing but trouble. Heck, the players even tried to kick an admin one time.

Vote kick sounds like a terrible idea to me. The players will form vicious kicking mobs if that happens. May I ask, is there a way to set up admin accounts for other people (I haven't set up a server yet, so I don't know whether it already exists), with a username and password? I am thinking admin mod style.

Basically what you are saying is you want to ruin the game for everyone else just so you can have your race.The fun thing about mta is you can do anything you want. In one server you could have people doing three different things because Vice City is so big! People often divide into groups to do different things, whether it be exploring, racing, stunting, fighting, whatever!

Windows XP will take care of a lot things. It will autodetect your hardware and configure most of the stuff for you. The software you have installed now should still work. Just use the upgrade function :-/ You make it sound like you are going to format the hard drive.

u can't just say tell them to upgrade, many ppl use windows 98 cause they are used to it and its real simple,by the look of xp i think it is difficult Uhh...just cause it uses a different default skin doesn't make it harder. Quite the opposite as a matter of fact, it is much easier to use than Windows 98. Much more user friendly and stable. Very fast too. And if you insist, there are settings that revert the interface back to the "classic" style. You can also change the skin to make it like it used to be. Well, if they put an rpg in, they would have to fix the aiming bug. If you fire at someone in target mode, it doesn't do any damage to them even though it appears to.

Ahh...roleplaying...I remember I used to crash roleplaying servers in Action Half-Life. I used to start killing all of those rpers. Man, they got so mad, it was so funny. It got even funnier when they found out I ran the server As an admin, running a roleplaying server was difficult. Anytime anyone did anything that ticked someone off, they came crying to me. If I didn't do anything about it, they would usually yell at me, often resulting in an execclient unbindall...man, those were the days.

Hey, I'm sure these guys have been working hard. You seem to forget that they have real lives as well.
