Yea, i played True Crime. It wasn't that good. I'm glad they said MTA was bettter than TC. It's hillarious that a small dev team that relies on mem addys to make an sp game multiplayer did a better job at multiplayer than a professional team

LOL, Rob how stupid is that guy. Emulation isn't illegal under a certain ammount of reasons. 1) You own the console and 2) You own the games. If you're emulating stuff you own, it is not illegal, lol. He should go to some emulation sites/forums such as emutalk or ngemu

Maybe he doesnt really wanna compete? Maybe he just wants to see if he can acomplish multiplayer and to see if he can actually bring an 0.1 beta. If he acomplishes that, it would be a lot more than other groups have tried. Some haven't even made an 0.1 (gta:XC)

Umm, no? And it isn't a real bright idea to flame MrBump. Sure he gets on your nerves once in a while, but he's only tellin ya that way so you don't always have to rely on us for your problems and so you can do some research on your own. Actually, it is lag. It's the lag other people have compared to you, and so on. Also, the aiming is based on something that doesnt allow total perfect aiming. So if you are shooting him head on, you may be shooting a car next to him, or something, lol.

You need the cam-hack. Look in the 'Other Mods' section of the forum. It's in there somewhere.

Umm, they probably dont cheat, they probably had weapon pickups. And there is a thread in this forum that talks about the lag compensation of MTA and tells you how to hit people. Also, some guns have really bad aiming, so stear away from them (mac-10 anyone?)

Well, when I first tried MTAVC, my reaction was *drool* I couldn't believe it, i didnt have a thing i really wanted to complain about. I just thought it was 100 times better than 0.3b for gta3. First off, you didn't need to wait for "Multitheftauto Has Begun" which could take a bit. You joined a server and you were set. It also had ingame chat (via in-game routines) There was no cheat complainin really, no one really thought about it. Hell, there wasnt really any cheating at all. There was maybe 1/2 of the ammount of servers there are now. And the only good ones were basically the officials. All I really cared about was VC online I saw it, and it was good.

Its been known for a while that time/weather is synced in .4. They confirmed it a long time ago in a forum post (dont remember where)

Lets clear a few things up, shall we? DO NOT change the compatability mode of the gta-vc.exe or the mtaclient.exe. Uninstall MTA, and make sure you select the proper directory to your GTA install when it asks. When you open mta, and are connected to a server (usually from ASE), click start game. If nothing happens, click on reset game path (upper right in the client) and select the gta-vc.exe. If nothing else works, then I have no clue what your problem is. Try reading the manual and FAQ again and see if your problem is addresses in there.
