Some games, like Soul Calibur, arent VGA Compatable. Chanka runs VGA only games. The cable selector allows you to choose between VGA and non-VGA. So games like Soul Calibur wont need hex editing to enable the VGA-flag in the IP.BIN.

Well, i can confirm that =VCH= is a cheating clan. I hit em like 20 times in the 24hr server, not one of my shots caused damage. And, spawning with a spaz is fishy too.

Anyways, to the other questions. Garofi (spell? ) and a few others are actively working on Chanka. So far, this is the only version of it, but a new release (fixing many bugs, and adding much to compatability) is soon to follow, about a week supposedly. Compatability for 0.1 is probably about 30% of Dreamcast games, and thats because of some crash errors and VGA-Only support (0.2 will support non-vga games). But you have to understand, this is work after 3 months This is very far ahead in DC emulation. The only other emulator that runs DC games hasnt been released (icarus.boob.co.uk) and it also runs games slower than this. But this emulator is possibly the best emu of the year. Also, as far as it is in compatability, the games run at a very decent speed, so this is a very good emulator

Are you people stupid? You need the DREAMCAST BIOS. It runs right off the hard drive, but the dreamcast bios runs with the emulator. The bios is just so the games have a so-to-say "dreamcast operating system" that runs with it. It wont fuck up your pc, and its totally safe. Also, one note. With the games, you need Windows XP. This is why. Some games have an audio/data setup. The audio track is for making itself bootable on the dreamcast (selftboot also required for emulator). For some reason, only windows xp reads these types of games correctly, and so on. The only other type of game is a data/data boot. This is also a way of making the game boot. XP can read these as well, but the good news is that Windows 2000 can read these types too. The only bad thing is that not a whole lot of games use that. AND ALSO: I repeat this. The dreamcast bios (dc_bios.bin and dc_flash.bin) are REQURED to make the emulator run. It does nothing to your pc's bios. IT DOES NOTHING to the pc's bios. Well, whats to say. This great emulator has been released and it plays dc games now. You can grab the Emu/Bios in this zip. The rest is up to you guys. Ok, first off dude. 1) They DONT need to code it in C++. VB is fine for this, especially if they do code it right (which they seem to be doing) 2) They wont reveal the mem addys, otherwise many coders could just sync those and start up their own mp mods (same reason mta doesnt release info like this) 3) They have good coders, 3 people in a team is a good number (there are more though). And if im not mistaken, one of them knows DX hacking. 4) I dont know if you were talkin to HotTime, but Stanton is the leader of the mod. 5) Why dont you stop flaming this mod. Lets see you create an mp mod, i bet you wouldnt be able to get this friggin far, i bet you wouldnt even get as far as having a team. You have no clue how good it is working, i have tested it. It runs well for an ALPHA of the 0.1.

Whats up guys, jsut thought id say, im back to MTA for now. Found an interest in gta again with VMP popping up and with the smoothness of MTA 0.4. Also, id like to explain soem things for my over extended absence Router totally died, and the internet is acting up, so i only have a few chances a day to get on. Havent had chances to be online lately, been out with friends and stuff, just regularly busy. Exams and final tests have been coming up, been studying for them. Exactly. Thats why I disable the mods on non-mod servers. Because I dont want to get banned. Also, I don't like cheaters. But if it's a stunt server, and the admin is cool about it. We just have fun. But on a server where the admins dont allow it, I WOULD NVR MOD.

I've found at least three stunt servers where the admins dont give a damn if you mod the hell out of your car or map. and you know what? almost NO crashes. We maybe crashed twice while in that server over a period of 2 hours. Now what does that tell you? (no i dont use mods on servers that dont allow it)

Another thing I found out. If someone really wants to, they can easily mess up the player selection screen. Just by using mods they can get up there. And the server I was in allowed mods (it was very fun with this one map mod and everyone going fast, but not insanely fast) and someone got up there with there flying cars (which we didn't care about) and they really made it look weird. Not sure exactly what they did, but thats my guess. Now for the pics .

Well, here's my review. Resolution: 3/10 Either the vehicle was |--| big (yes those r like area markers) on a screen |------------| big. Or the vehicle was |------------| and you couldn't see the outside of the stunt. Stunts: 7/10 (of the ones visible) Not bad stunts. Some pretty good ones. I wish I could've seen them all. Music: 3/10 The music didn't really apeal to me at all. Overall: 6.5/10 Some OK stunts and a pretty good attempt at a vid. Also, don't use transitions after almost all the stunts.

Umm, where were the stunts? I think I saw maybe three REAL stunts (and even not real good ones then). Don't use hacks/mods/cheats. Try showing the landing of the stunts and less clips of gta (this is a stunt vid btw). Also, edit your movie a bit better. That ending was so horribly edited. I give it a 1.7/10. It's my job to critisize a vid someone released, and I'm doing just that . Don't take it personally. I do this to everyones vids (well, not say they suck. but give them my honest opinion).
