  1. Moved to Scripting subforum.
  2. Per linux.multitheftauto.com, the Linux server package is built for 32-bit systems. I guess if you're going to run it on a 64-bit system, don't expect much support.

  4. Update your DirectX Runtimes. Try deleting D3DX9_42.dll in the \MTA folder in the Multi Theft Auto directory.
  5. If you're asking whether the file (I assume Visual C++ redistributable) is safe, it is, as long as you download it from the Microsoft website.
  6. Click the link. Does the webpage load?
  7. Make sure you can access http://www.game-monitor.com from your laptop. Moved to "Client" support section.
  8. Make sure port 22126 is forwarded properly. It may take several hours for your server to show up on Game-Monitor. It's rather slow.
  9. It's a joke, the entire topic was edited. Don't take it too seriously.
  10. Okay it seems that this topic is now being discussed through PM and other channels. This thread has been locked and left as is until a pending legal matter is resolved. As anyone can guess, we will not be holding any more official MTA parties.
  11. SugarD-x you should have known better than to wear that Hello Kitty robe to the LAN party. I know it's hard to find clothes in your size but you should have at least worn something underneath! I guess the options now are obvious but I can tell you I saw several people 1v1ing with varez before you came, but I had better precision.
  12. SugarD-x, you weren't sitting in varez's seat by any chance were you? He made quite a mess and no one was supposed to sit there afterwards...

Try updating your DirectX runtimes. What is your graphics card model? GPU-Z can tell you.
  14. If you "red" the pm we sent you, you wouldnt need to give "bumps" to topics like that. understand? You guys are geting dangerously close to talking about it, which we all agreed was off limits. I can't let my friends know that i go to those things.
  15. Moved to proper "Server" support subforum.

    MTA vs SAMP

Moderation The last topic veered off topic and had a fair bit of fanboyism. Keep that out this time, and this topic is fine to discuss.
  17. Installer updated, download. Changes: Also updated Known Issues pages and some Wiki pages to reflect new installers + server packages. EDIT: Noticed another minor installer bug and forgot to include the MTA Server Configuration Tool PDF manual. A fixed installer will be uploaded in a few days with a new version of MTABrowser to fix a few minor issues.
  18. 1: We don't support MTA:SA Race anymore. Upgrade to MTA:SA 1.0.4. 2: Don't double post again, please. This is the correct section, so I shall leave this topic here and move your other one to the trash. 3: Considering your server got listed on Game-Monitor and some random person happened to join, your network configuration should be OK. The person you asked to join may have been running MTA:SA 1.0.4, not MTA:SA Race, so that's why they may have been unable to connect.
  19. Bug confirmed, it seems to be an issue with MTABrowser and not MTAClient. Will fix the bug and update the installer soonish. EDIT: Found some more bugs in MTABrowser. Will have them fixed and also add an icon for the application. Linux version of MTABrowser is not affected by these bugs.
  20. It seems I messed up on the deletion of shortcuts on Windows 7 x64, but NSIS installer script sucks. I shall try to rectify the issue and upload a corrected version soon. I will also add a shortcut to the MTA Forums in the Start Menu.
