  1. Does the error message state any specific DLL?
  2. Delete \MTA\D3DX9_42.dll and see if MTA launches. Also make sure your DirectX runtimes are current.
  3. Try removing your resolution DLL and see if it runs.

    Ho can i play

You don't need to login to play. Moved to "Client" under "Support for MTA:SA 1.x".
  5. Last time it was asked for, the team had no interest in releasing the source. Some quotes from #mta from Monday, February 22, 2010: As per my signature, I've updated MTA 0.5's SCMs as best I could, but as of yet all that effort has amounted to nothing due to lack of developer support. Perhaps it's my fault for wasting time on it in the first place. Sorry, but unfortunately the answer is no at this time.

    NEED FAST HELP!

Download and install this to update your video card drivers. I assume you mean "Mobile Intel Express Chipset Family 965", as 968 does not exist.

    NEED FAST HELP!

Update your DirectX runtimes. What's your OS and video card?
  8. There's no error message whatsoever, MTA just exits after launch?
  9. Try updating your graphics card drivers: http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp-257. ... river.html
  10. Have you run GTASA at least once before launching MTA? Try deleting gta_sa.set in "Documents\GTA San Andreas User Files".
  11. can mta/gta use more than one core? i dont think so.. It's still beneficial for the rest of the system as background processes can use other core(s), leaving GTA/MTA to use most of one core for itself.
  12. Pedestrians and traffic vehicles in single player are generated from specific nodes, and appear only when you're looking. If you turn around, they disappear. Here's a lengthy thread about this topic.

    2 questions

    It is Cyrillic text, yes.
  14. It is unfeasible to try to use the single-player method of pedestrian/traffic generation, so I don't see why you're trying to enable it.
  15. We can't do anything about it here on the MTA forums. You can post a topic on Ankeborg's forum if you wish. Topic locked.

    help

    Follow this guide.
  17. Your graphics card is integrated and is very underpowered. You can try updating your video driver, but it most likely won't help. If you tell me your motherboard model then I can find the latest driver for you.
  18. Try restoring defaults under "options -> controller" configuration in GTASA single player. Topic moved to "Support for MTA:SA 1.x - Client".
  19. Update your DirectX runtimes. If that doesn't work, try deleting D3DX9_42.dll in the \MTASA\MTA folder. What's your OS and video card?

    MTA login issue

That feature has been broken for a while now. It's not required to login ingame, just ignore it for now.
  21. Moved to Scripting subforum.
  22. Which version of Windows are you running? Is your GTA:VC installation modified whatsoever? Is it 1.0?
  23. Only you would see them, anyway. Peds in the single-player GTAs basically disappear when you turn around and spawn at specific nodes around the map.
