  1. Install the latest patch of MTA:SA Install the latest DirectX runtimes
  2. How do you get in to MTA and im using the server not the client
  3. Hm, ok. Weird. I suppose you can uninstall the Ralink driver/utility now. Your monitor should have an "auto" button, press it and it should fix that. Or change the resolution of GTA:SA in the settings to match your native desktop resolution. Does GTA:SA single player work properly? Can you load map editor?
  4. mtasa.com has 5 errors, 5 warnings currently.
  5. Your wireless card uses a Ralink chipset. Please try installing the driver regardless, since Ralink's own driver should be newer and better than whatever driver you are using currently. The graphics and chipset drivers installed properly. Post another dxdiag after installation, or post if it fails to install. Does MTA still not work?

    Okay, me again.

Try reinstalling, if that doesn't help try to find some other copy.

    Okay, me again.

We need more info. Does single-player work? How far does MTA get before it crashes? Does it crash every single time? Also, please paste the contents of both mta\CEGUI.log and mta\logfile.txt.
  8. For the wireless driver link, you must scroll down and enter any name and email then hit submit. A file will begin downloading. Don't worry about the BIOS update file, it's not required. Forget about that one.
  9. Please install the following: Audio driver (this is for your onboard Realtek sound - I see you also have an X-Fi. Either install this driver, or disable the onboard sound in your BIOS) Latest patch of MTA:SA Latest DirectX runtimes Provide another dxdiag log after installing.
  10. Please install the following: Graphics driver Wireless driver Chipset driver BIOS update Latest patch of MTA:SA Latest DirectX runtimes Provide another dxdiag log after installing.
  11. Install the latest DirectX runtimes Could you provide a dxdiag report? Press the Windows key + R, type dxdiag, press Enter, click Save all information... and post the contents of the saved log here within Code tags.
  12. I believe that indicates some problem with your system configuration. Try running Windows Update, maybe?
  13. Towncivilian

    Okay, me again.

Hi! Please check your PMs. Also, provide a complete dxdiag log if you want me to give you a list of any outdated drivers.
  14. Please install the following: Graphics driver Chipset driver Ethernet driver (if you need help with installation, follow the section "Updating The Driver Software" on page 10 of the user manual) Latest patch of MTA:SA Latest DirectX runtimes Provide another dxdiag log after installing.
  15. Try extracting the latest resources into the \mods\deathmatch\resources directory of your MTA:SA installation folder.
  16. I don't think you can use spaces in a resource name, please try renaming it to my_server and try again.

    Crash MTA

Please try installing the Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Runtimes and running Windows Update.
  18. Please try deleting the MTA\coreconfig.xml file in your MTA:SA installation directory, as well as the gta_sa.set file located in the GTA San Andreas User Files in your Documents folder/library (if running Windows Vista or 7) or My Documents directory (if running Windows XP).
  19. They don't - I just always provide a full list of drivers that can be updated for anybody who posts a dxdiag log. You don't need to update them if you don't want to. After loading map editor, join a server; do you hear sounds then?
  20. The chipset drivers have installed properly this time. So, when you load map editor then join a server, everything works as intended? But when you join a server right after starting MTA, it crashes during the connection process?
