You can try deleting MTA\coreconfig.xml in the MTA:SA installation directory.
  3. Please install the following: Graphics driver Ethernet driver (do a Repair install if prompted) Latest patch of MTA:SA Latest DirectX runtimes Provide another dxdiag log after installing.
  4. Windows 8 is not supported at this time. Sorry.
  5. No, stick with Windows 7. XP is antiquated.
  6. Such a converter does not exist.
  7. Install the latest patch of MTA:SA Install the latest DirectX runtimes Could you provide a dxdiag report? Press the Windows key + R, type dxdiag, press Enter, click Save all information... and post the contents of the saved log here within Code tags.
  8. Yeah, there's nothing you can do at this point. Investing any money into such old hardware would be a waste. While perhaps you were able to play MTA:SA decently before, your system is very dated and it may just not be able to handle it anymore, possibly due to 1.1's graphical enhancements. You can try using 1.0.5 to map, I guess.
  9. That's a surprise, given you're using decade old technology. The Radeon 7500 is only DirectX 7 compliant. That video card doesn't meet GTA:SA's minimum requirement of a 64MB graphics card, either, as it only has 32MB of VRAM. My only suggestion is to acquire some newer hardware.
  10. Indeed it is. No wonder you're having difficulty playing MTA. Please install the following: Audio driver Chipset driver Provide another dxdiag log after installing. Something tells me that those two drivers won't make a difference, though.
  11. Install the latest patch of MTA:SA Install the latest DirectX runtimes Could you provide a dxdiag report? Press the Windows key + R, type dxdiag, press Enter, click Save all information... and post the contents of the saved log here within Code tags. Topic moved to Client support.
  12. Open it and copy all the text, then paste it within tags here.
  13. Open x.txt in your C:\Users\Joost folder and copy the contents here within code tags.
  14. Update to MTA 1.1.1. Also, the Linux server package for MTA:SA is built on and for 32-bit systems, so 64-bit distributions may yield unexpected results. You may need to use a 32-bit version of Linux.
  15. This sounds correct to me. Vice City & its various multiplayer mods have an issue with randomly teleporting you to a specific set of coordinates right outside the Little Havana police station. Before this teleporting, a similar "Loading..." screen is shown. I believe there is some memory hack to work around this, but it was a side effect of patching another "issue". I don't think anybody knows why this happens. I've never encountered such a "Loading..." issue in GTA3 or SA, but I've spent most of my time in Vice City.
  16. Extract the zip and double click it, it should give you installation instructions.
  17. Please install the Verdana font from here.
  18. You may send him a PM here on the forums, or find him in IRC.
  19. They are indeed up-to-date. Please try installing the Visual C++ 2008 SP1 runtimes and running Windows Update afterwards. If that doesn't help, reinstall both GTA:SA and MTA:SA.
