  1. Excellent. You're quite welcome, enjoy MTA!
  2. Did you attempt the optical drive firmware update I linked earlier?
  3. Tried reinstalling GTA:SA and MTA? If that didn't help, I'd just say reinstall with a proper version of Windows.
  4. OK, everything looks fine. Have you tried both MTA:SA 1.0.5 and 1.1?
  5. Use 1.0.5 for now until a fix is made, sorry.
  6. You are correct, all of the other drivers have installed correctly. Your current audio driver will be ok. A new patch for MTA is out, please try it and report if it works.

    GTA:SA on Steam?

    You're welcome, enjoy MTA!
  8. You didn't install the audio driver. Also see if this BIOS update and optical drive firmware update apply to your system.
  9. Can you provide another dxdiag log?

    GTA:SA on Steam?

Absolutely, just Google around for a HOODLUM 1.0 no-CD. We can't link you to one here.

    GTA:SA on Steam?

You will need to obtain a 1.0 no-CD version to play using the Steam version. Your single-player save games will still function as far as I know.
  12. You didn't install the audio driver. Here are a couple other drivers: Touchpad driver Ethernet driver (do a Repair install if prompted) After installing those drivers, delete the gta_sa.set file located in the GTA San Andreas User Files in your My Documents directory and give another dxdiag log.

    mac os x

Ultimately, it's easier to acquire a copy of Windows XP or above and use Bootcamp to play MTA. Thus, I'm positive there won't be a port of MTA for OS X any time in the near future, if at all.
  14. Please install: Audio driver Ethernet driver BIOS (extract and run AFUWIN.EXE and follow instructions)
  15. See if MTA works. If not, please post another dxdiag log.
  16. While you have valid points, there are probably less than 2 people still around who know mIRC scripting, much less the intricacies related to MTA:mA. Anybody trying to use MTA LUA Admin for 0.x can post in the specific 0.5r2 subforum for support.
  17. Please install the following: Graphics driver Chipset driver SPTD v1.78 (used by Daemon Tools) Latest patch of MTA:SA Latest DirectX runtimes
  18. You're running some godawful pirated version of Vista. In light of this I'll still attempt to help you, but if this doesn't help you're on your own. I'd suggest a reinstall of some proper version of Windows, preferably 7 (you've certainly got enough RAM to do so). Please install the following: Graphics driver Audio driver Chipset driver (uncheck Display Driver during the setup process since you will be installing a newer version already, and do not install the nVidia nForce Network Access Manager when prompted) Latest patch of MTA:SA Latest DirectX runtimes
  19. Please paste the entire contents of the log within tags.
  20. Which operating system are you running?
  21. Please install the following: Graphics driver Audio driver Wireless driver Ethernet driver (do a Repair install if prompted) Chipset driver
  22. Install the latest DirectX runtimes Could you provide a dxdiag report? Press the Windows key + R, type dxdiag, press Enter, click Save all information... and post the contents of the saved log here within Code tags.
  23. I noticed. Install the latest DirectX runtimes Could you provide a dxdiag report? Press the Windows key + R, type dxdiag, press Enter, click Save all information... and post the contents of the saved log here within Code tags.
  24. OK. Have you tried reinstalling MTA:SA?
