Well, MTA doesn't check ALL of the files. I believe it only checks a few of them (the handling.cfg and main.scm are the two I'm certain of). So the radar mod should work.

I'm all for 2 teams only. No classes either (meaning, no differing weapons). The skins should be different though.

Well, there are some very large differences between Mozilla and many other open-source projects, and MTA. Mozilla doesn't exactly have to worry about people cheating... It isn't a multiplayer game.

Are you using the english language version of GTA:VC? Are you using a crack/mods? Did you set the correct version of GTA:VC in MTA?

I'm thinking of...: A player list in the MTA Client, with little checkboxes next to the names. If the name is checked, then messages will be sent to them when you use team chat. If it isn't checked, then it won't be sent. If you use global chat, it'll send to everyone, regardless of if they're on your team or not.

Little note to VCP: I suggest not boasting about how good your gang is, and how you kick everyone's ass, etc, etc... Eventually, you will lose (It's a certainty, assuming that your gang lasts a while), and it will just take that one loss for everyone to be able to make fun of you

It happens more often to different people... It's very odd. Some people can go for a few hours, others can go for a few minutes. BTW: Just because his GTA:VC crashed doesn't mean his score was reset... He could've crashed about 20 times in an hour, but his score wouldn't be reset.

Nothing really. The bug appears to occur both while in VC, single player, and MTA:VC. It simply occurs more often in MTA:VC.

I believe that is the engine noise that you hear when MTA starts. It's my guess that it's for selecting one's character... When you hit enter, you get into the car, and when MTA notices that you're in a car, it spawns you. (Of course, that's just a guess... I have no way of knowing for sure )

Ya, this has happened to me before. Seems as though my config.cfg (C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto Vice City\config.cfg) was completely empty. I just opened it with notepad and added the lines: bind t say bind F9 showchat bind F10 showplayers bind F11 showscores bind F12 screenshot Worked for me. You can always just re-install MTA, doesn't take long EDIT: fixed it.

Official cheater list things like this won't work, unless you can give definite PROOF that he was cheating, as well as an IP. Even then, it's unlikely they'll be banned until people can be certain that they are a cheater. And even then, it's all up to the server operators wether to ban him or not.

I believe that so long as the .col files and the handling.cfg file is not changed, then you can install it... (so, pretty much only textures and models). You MAY be able to use new .col files, but I forget
