The patch isn't really necessary. It was created to fix graphical bugs that some people had with VC, which have since been fixed in graphics card drivers.

To be honest, Jigga, I think you're taking it a bit too personally. If they want to create their own RPG servers, let them. With Blue they wouldn't even appear in the server list unless you had their mod installed, so it wouldn't exactly bother you.

Try updating your audio drivers. If you have a separate card, you can get them from the card manufacturer's website. If you have onboard sound, you can get them from the motherboard manufacturer's website. If you don't know which you have, it's likely that you have onboard sound.

With Blue though, they'd have their own mod and you wouldn't be able to connect if you didn't have the mod. They don't password protect it because they want people to join who are interested in RPG-ing.

it was for nothing, since my account wasn't banned, only my ip was. and usually i'd get a warning if i did something wrong. which i obviously didn't. nobody seems to know who did it, so there is a mysterious moderator/admin on this forum? great. that is called "total control" It could have been another user that was banned. There was a bit of embarrassment the other day in the mod forum when it was revealed that a rather abusive member had exactly the same IP as me. I think it was an ISP screw-up. My IP seems to have changed now. So that could explain why your IP was banned without a warning.

I've seen worse. On another forum, one of the admins put gay porn in a user's sig and then locked it so that they couldn't change it. It's difficult to justify the reasons why your posts were deleted without seeing the actual posts, but they must have been deleted for a reason. P.S. I didn't change your sig and I don't recall deleting any of your posts.

Oh hang on, do you mean you connect from the default client to one of your mod's servers and the mod is downloaded automatically? If so, this won't be possible as far as I'm aware because they said that you won't be able to see servers for mods unless you have the specific mod installed.
