  1. Yeah, but the maps will still remain on the site though.
  2. Remove the # from the front of the "Password" bit.
  3. http://www.game-monitor.com/MapSearch/mta/race%20mod/
  4. So does this variance in collision calculations affect motion on a straight flat road? They still jerk then as well. Surely there must be a way of compensating for it in such situations?
  5. Yes, this is a bug with the site. Hopefully this will be fixed soon.
  6. Runs at normal priority on mine...
  7. That'd be because MTA:SA isn't supported by Xfire. GTA:SA is but MTA isn't.
  8. I believe it's MTA\mods\map creator\maps but I'm on my Mac at the moment so I can't check.
  9. Another category should be "concept map", for maps like "Island" that ships with the official map pack. This would be a nice feature though, although it may be hard to assign these categories to individual maps that are already in the database.
  10. I don't have an ATI card so I didn't know if the drivers have this feature of not. Nvidia drivers do. You can get third party utilities that can detect an exe and do this though.
  11. Interesting... people have managed to be thrown off their bikes by explosions, but I've never seen that before.
  12. It hasn't been discussed for new players to the server though.
  13. Can you not set up a profile in your video card drivers to increase the brightness automatically when running gta-sa.exe?
  14. They could make a loading screen if they wished but a new opening video would drastically increase the size of the download.
  15. And single player works fine?
  16. I had this problem in the beta tests but I would time out shortly afterwards so I put it down to my connection. Maybe it is a server issue.
  17. This would need a client and server patch. It can't be accomplished in a script.
  18. Not necessarily. They may not have had enough time before, or they may choose to come up with a different solution to the problem.
  19. Er... if your internet connection dies, how do you connect to the proxy server?
  20. Those other threads were not locked because the maps in question were on another site. There's not much point in linking to the maps that are already on this site. If the person who locked the first thread wants to unlock it, that's fine by me.
  21. You'd be able to switch it off or choose to mute certain people.
  22. It would be more intuitive if the camera was set to strafe though.
  23. We're announcing a new dedicated server release: MTA:SA R1.0 - Dedicated Server v1.03. The new server will include the following fixes and new features: - Race statistics at the end of races - Updated maps - Updated configuration file - Working anti-cheat update sequence on start Update: The new dedicated server can be downloaded from our download page.
  24. The web development team has been working hard and has just added a new feature to the MTA Center. You can now see a map of any of the uploaded races, by clicking the "view" button on the race information page. Heres an example: Head over to the MTA Center at http://center.mtasa.com to check them out! Many thanks to Ian Albert for giving us permision to use his map.
  25. You'll be able to do that once the SDK is released, some time after deathmatch.
