I've searched for 'weapon damage" and haven't seen any threads from this year. Would you care to shot me these 'millions' of threads? They weren't specifically about weapon damage but the overall balancing of the classes.

I think what MrBump meant was that having it windowed would mess up all of the overlay stuff. He's just given a use: Plus alt+tabbing gives him an unfair advantage over other players.

Yeah, I meant MTAMA but the quote wasn't clear. Wait for MTA:mA (aka MTAMA) 3.0 that comes with the same time as MTA 0.4 Clear? When I said that the quote wasn't clear, I meant that it wasn't clear when I quoted it because I missed out some of the info. That's why MrBump didn't know the context in which I spoke. Anyway, after much verbosity, my question has been answered, so thank you.

Agreed. I know a lot of people who would do better to remember that.

Why would it be? Firstly, we know (virtually) nothing about the feature list - all we know is that it will be better than 0.3, which is probable. I suppose that people could be disappointed if suggestions weren't taken into account - for example, the infamous exception error, but it was never said that these bugs would be fixed (in this version).

I don't think this is really an issue right now. From what I gather by the previous posts, it's only a minority of people who have an advantage. So therefore, in mind of the issues such an implementation would have, it would be best to put this topic aside until it becomes an issue. Edit: I need to find more synonyms for "issue"...

Yeah, but lamers would use it all the time. It'd become a n00b trick because it's an easy way to get a frag without risking dying.

Many people use CD cracks perfectly with MTA. Whilst MTA don't endorse their use, they don't do anything to stop it. My suggestion would be to search around for other cracks, or just use the CDs.

The feature list for 0.4 has been locked down, so if any of these suggestions were taken into account, they would be added in a future version.
