Okay, I've done a few minor edits here and there, so the first post should be all clear now. Just copy what's inside of the quote and replace it with the first post of this thread.

I agree that an extra health bar should be added for the armor (maybe it could be something like five extra bars in a different color next to the 10 green ones). It will make killing cops a lot easier. People who have armor after spawning as a class that normally doesn't have it will still be questioned, though. Whatever this glitch is, it needs to be fixed first.
-
It happened to me once during a robber spawn war in 0.3. I was killed and respawned with 50 armor. I immediately restarted the game because I didn't want anyone to think that I may be cheating...
-
It's not possible.
-
I just tried it out today, and my ping is finally normal again. Now I can actually play the game. Great job, MTA team.
-
There's no difference between "modding" and "cheating"? In that case, I suppose editing your car to go faster and winning several races in GTA3: MTA isn't cheating. I guess this also means that adding a map mod to your game to escape from your enemies on an invisible road over the water isn't cheating, either. Maybe this means that I can finally edit a few files to start out with every weapon in the game and all of the money I need, too, without cheating! Seriously, open your eyes. "Cheating" isn't just exclusive to trainers and the like; it applies to modding as well. The [DRuG] clan refer to themselves as "modders, not cheaters" if they'd like, but it's not going to make any sense. Modders are cheaters, so therefore, they are a cheating clan.

Yeah, I quit playing regularly a few days ago. If any server hits more than... oh, 3 or 4 players, then my ping spikes and reaches as high as 400+. On a 10 player server, it's almost doubled, and my ping usually remains a consistent 500-800+. Anything higher is simply unplayable. You guys think it's bad on a broadband connection? Try playing it on 56k.

Updated the GTA3 and VC maps...
-
I was waiting for someone to claim the mansion. About the dog food factory, it seems like a kind of flat place inside of the walls, unless you can get on the building roof... reminds me of the fish factory. ...Just my opinion. I've updated the maps. =)

A few interesting things I should point out: What does it matter if your clan openly admits to glitching but the others don't? You're still glitching, and your honesty doesn't warrant you any reason to continue it. lol, but Zircon does. Shall I open a ULK memberlist a rattle off a few more ULK members who do? Many people used the weapon switching exploit with the stubby back in 0.3. It wasn't just me and you, but several other KFCs and ULKs for that matter, too. Back then it was tolerated; now it isn't.About the quote from our private tactics... that's over. Quit bringing up things of the past. Last I remember it was a suggestion in the midst of my post from months ago when the glitch was actually tolerated. A rogue ULK member handed it over... I would have actually edited it out sooner once the glitch became such a widespread problem, but I never would have guessed that a KFC member would have gotten his hands on it and be so lame to post it up to the public. We have never used a glitch in matches that didn't allow them, and you have no proof that we have, either. Also, I really don't care what our "score rests at." That has nothing to do with the topic on hand... The point here is that if you're warping around with the stubby in 0.4 (and from what I've heard, you have), then you're either cheating or glitching. The defination of warping? Moving freely out of the shooting or reloading animation without jumping. Personally, If I see anyone doing this, then I won't hold back from calling them a glitcher, or even worse yet, a cheater.

A moderator would have to (hint hint). =)

The Sawmills is a really nice place; it's hard to penetrate by foot and there's even a health and Uzi pickup on top of the roofs. I was really considering it, but had to turn it down for the Sex Club for a few personal reasons. The ship by the docks would make a decent base if you worked with it a bit. There's an Ammunation, which would prove very beneficial in the midst of a fight, but I couldn't find many tactical positions around the area... maybe you can, though. I remember this as the 'SPANK' boat that you had to sink from SP, so I labeled it on the map as that. Good bases are going fast. =P
-
Okay, I've gotten a much better map of Portland up now. See the above post.
-
I forgot. =P Updated.
-
I've updated the VC maps a few days ago... Now for the GTA3 map: There is only a 650x650 version. ULK claims the Sex Club Seven (Luigi's Bar) for now. DeathB let me choose any base I wanted, so I decided on this place. I'm still considering other bases and I need other people's input, so it may change. All gangs should begin claiming their bases for GTA3 now under these conditions: it has to be in Portland and it must be reachable on foot. You can also claim areas that are spawn points since they're so random in this game. I'll be updating regularly.

Switching weapons is not a bug within GTA. There's actually a value within weapon.dat that controls how quickly you can break out of an animation (shooting/reloading) by switching weapons...
-
The slower recoil for the stubby was added to prevent you from switching weapons before the reloading animation even finished. This doesn't sound like too much of a problem on your side, but as you know, it makes you warp around on the other player's screen. I begged for this exploit to be fixed because it was getting out of hand in 0.3. I did use it because it was highly effective (although a bit unfair), and jumping was pretty much obsolete since there were so many warpers at the time. I'm perfectly comfortable with jumping around if that's what I have to do to get moving quickly after shooting. Jumping cancels quite a few animations, and as far as I'm concerned, there's no way to fix that. It's a bug within GTA, unlike the warping around by switching weapons, which is probably a bug within MTA, and can only be fixed by editing the recoil at this time. I'm just glad that it was fixed one way or another.
-
It supports 32 players and VC doesn't? That's really... amazing. I've been playing in 10 player or less servers, so I doubt it.
-
Pros - The aiming system has really improved. I can actually use weapons like the M60 now without getting slaughtered while trying to find my opponent's hitbox. The stubby exploit is fixed, at last. Even though I can't use it anymore (=P), I suppose it makes things more balanced without people warping around everywhere after shooting. I can work with the old school jumping technique... Synced time and weather is a cool feature. I like the new character selection screen. Now I can spot any action at the spawn points through the live camera feed. Cons - GTA3 seems to crash a lot, but I can only assume that it's the same reason there's a disco lit sky... the engine is strained. VC, on the other hand, is very stable for me (at least as much as it was in 0.3). As I've been complaining about everywhere, the bandwidth problems are horrible. I'm hoping that the patch will release soon and resolve this.
-
Try playing it on a 56k connection. What lag you had in 0.3 is almost tripled... it's really ridiculous. I'll still play regularly, anyway. It's not completely unplayable but a patch to resolve the bandwidth problems would help. Good luck...
-
I've played it just today. I'm impressed with all of the new features and bug fixes. The only thing I can complain about is the horrible lag. I can see that this is being addessed in an upcoming patch, though. At its current state, it's pretty much unplayable on my side unless I'm on a five player or less server... if this bandwidth problem will be fixed soon then it will be perfect.
-
The 5200 isn't that great for Vice City, let alone MTA, at all. The lower line of FXs are generally no good, anyway, as I said. I'm not sure if that's the problem, but it could certainly be contributing to it...
-
That graphics card doesn't sound so great, either. The FX line is horrible... I'd recommend looking for another.
-
Where in his post did he say that he wanted to join VCA?
-
That was apparently an imposter. We still have quite a few fans, I see. ULK is not a cheating clan, however, and if we found that it was him somehow, then he'd be kicked. Sorry about that.
