    First 0.5 Screenshots!

The client really looks a lot better. A nice XP visual style manifest, built-in server browser, and tabs for setting up a server and configuring the settings. I'm impressed. Nice work... can't wait for the release.
  2. Do you have more than six members? I don't see your roster anywhere. That building is called "Standing Vice Point"... updated.
  3. Here's the maps: Vice City: 1024x1024 Version Liberty City: MAD_BOY will be updating the first post.
  4. Okay, one base per island for each gang until they're all linked together in a future release. ULK will be claiming the Pan-Lantic Construction Yard on Staunton Island and the Cochrane Dam in Shoreside Vale. I had to switch hosts again too... xs.to changed the URL whenever I re-uploaded an image, so I'll use our webserver instead (hosted by Disaster). It's much more reliable - should have done that earlier. The maps will be up soon. If you want to claim a base for GTA3 MTA, then post there.
  5. I can't edit the first post... it's your post and I'm not a mod. Thanks for updating the URLs.
  6. The maps are still up, as you can see in the quote below from the 34th page. Nobody has updated the URLs in the first post, though. If these images happen to go down, then I'll think from there. That probably won't happen, though, because xs.to seems pretty reliable. Biohazard: TLR has already taken Cafe Robina.
  7. Thanks for saving my thread Ransom... because I didn't. Our thread has been deleted before but not without warning or reason... if anything we had the thread with the least amount of spam and just over 20 pages. I don't know what pushed you guys to delete it this time around. In any case, I'm sick of this. I'm not starting another one. We have our own website, forums, IRC server, and more. This board is pointless. If anyone needs to contact us, they can easily do it in much better places than this. Edit: DeathB told me to put this in my post (he's banned) - congrats on ruining the mtavc forums, i wont be starting another thread either. gg
  8. r33dh4m, nobody's going to copy your "technique," if that's what's holding you back. And even if they did, who cares? It's not like anyone's going to use it, especially if it's drawn this much attention already. The fact that you AREN'T telling us is only placing you further down the line of the suspicion of cheating.
  9. By request (;D), I went to the PartyServer and fought r33dh4m a couple times. He was warping around with the stubby and (often) moving while his shot went off. I wouldn't exactly consider whatever he's doing legitimate. So, r33d, mind telling us what's going on?
  10. ({TR}SexyB) now as my first official kick, your booted He kicked us.
  11. Thanks. It's my best creation yet.
  12. A dev has responded with giving known cheater ranks out to all of the offenders. I guess that closes this case... Have a nice day.
  13. Have you ever been to a modding stunt server? No one is using the same modification, but that's beside the point.Do you think that's the only reason the MTA team strictly forbids any use of modifications in their EULA? Of course not... Read the last part of my post, though. That's where my point stands.
  14. Who says that the term "cheating" strictly means giving yourself an unfair advantage or disobeying the rules of a server? Last I heard, it also extended into the use of trainers, modifications, or even bots. I never stopped to think that a person who modified their handling.cfg in a stunt server where it was allowed may not be cheating. Why do you think that the MTA team put this in their EULA? The community (which includes the MTA team) defines cheating, not the server admins.Bottom line: KFC broke the EULA by modifying the client and creating a new SCM in a distributed package and are therefore portrayed as cheaters by the community. There's nothing you can do about it. You should have known that you would be open to criticism if anyone found out. You can say that you technically weren't cheating all that you like, but nobody is going to listen.
  15. Server rules can't define the term "cheating," they can only just allow it.
  16. So the EULA doesn't apply to server admins? No, it goes for all users of the software. The server admins can't bend the EULA and say that all players can legally use modifications on their server.
  17. No, you don't, unless you're counting slothman. Honorary members aren't actually real members.
  18. Lindsey: Dew: VVG has less than six members.Darkwing: Pole Position has a loadable interior.
  19. DomSpy: Whatever. Both are generally disallowed. RonSeal: Exactly, they're symbolic. I encourage all clans to actually pick something original and not a spawn point as their official base. That's the point, isn't it? Who says spawn points are off-limits in wars? Jesus: I think that they claimed it way back in 0.3, when it wasn't a spawn point. I just haven't bothered removing them from the list.
  20. From page 34: If these images happen to go down, then I'll think from there. That probably won't happen, though, because xs.to seems pretty reliable. MT: No the office building has a loadable interior.BoB: No, the drugs factory is taken by VCES. TDx: No, the Vercetti Estate is taken by VCK. SP: No, I've never heard of you. PCP: No, the El Swanko Casa is a spawn point.
