Please remove our forum from that board. I don't know who requested one... I'm assuming that Xc0n did since he's the moderator of it, but we really have no intentions to support it just yet. We have not had any problems with this board or its moderators, even though we rarely use our thread here. We handle most things interally these days using our own resources... we're actually more active than most people would think. Me. ;P I've been playing MTA on a 56k connection for nearly a year. There are actually more problems on your side than most people would expect, but you'll get used to it over time. Your choice of servers will be the biggest factor of how much you'll actually lag. Try playing on those that are located within the country that you live and are only holding around 12 people or less at the time. I won't go into detail about the other problems that you may face. Just don't let your connection ruin this game... it's still playable.

What about the gangs that are evenly matched? I can't name one involved in this league that is better than another hands-down (refering to all of the well-established gangs out there), in all seriousness. There is no "dominate gang," so to speak, at this point. I can't see this league working if we're only going to draw every match. You may not see it now, but when the stronger clans begin battle against each other, you will... take my word for it.

Yeah, it was a good game, but I still don't like the way that it ended. We have never drawn a gang war simply because the scores were tied after the initial two rounds were over. What good is a match if you can't determine who the better gang is in the end?

Now you're saying that we could have had a third round? From my understanding, the rules stated that we couldn't.Like I said... we deserved that win, but this rule forced us to end it as a draw.

We had the match with UVA today; it ended as a tie (1-1). We won the first round without a death on our side, and UVA won the second round with two remaining. It was way too close... we deserved that win. I don't like this draw rule at all. I'm only satisified with a win or a lose, else it just makes these kind of matches lame in the end. Now we'll never know who is really better...

That's taking it a little too far...Crouching/shooting/switching is only a workaround to switching freely, which the devs disabled in 0.4. The only reason people trouble themselves to fight in such a complicated manner is simply because it creates an insane amount of warp in the other player's point of view, which makes that person harder to hit. If you haven't seen it before, then think of it as simulating lag spikes without the brief pause. On the other hand, jumping to skip animations is a bug within GTA, not MTA, unlike the warping effect. The adverse effects that it causes aren't even comparable to that of the crouching method's. Besides, the crouching method is just that: a workaround, so I would define it as glitching. Jumping has always been actively used, and the only people who are beginning to complain about it in this version are the ones exploiting this warping glitch so that they can justify their cause for using it. I understand that KFC likes to use the crouching method, but I think that I speak for everyone when I say that I don't. If the stubby is going to be out, then you can count us out too. This is getting ridiculous...

You're not in the "Official Gang Members" list, and according to your thread, you have less than six members... so therefore, you're not eligable. Several of these types of gangs have been approaching me lately, asking me to add them to the map. Let's just say this... the smaller and mostly unknown gangs, especially those that aren't exactly in sync with the community, shouldn't be allowed to claim any territory on these maps and narrow down the choices for larger and more well-known gangs. Dark, as well as any other gang leader that is asking to be on this map, build your gangs up first and then ask for territory. Claiming anything at this stage would be essentially useless.

MrBump: The map works fine for me. Ice-server.com is up... try checking to see if your port 4005 is open. That may be preventing you from viewing it.

The only "VCG" I've heard of is the cheating clan... You need to be listed in the thread linked in the first post of this topic, which you aren't. The North Point Mall and Ocean View Hotel also have interiors that need to be loaded, so you'll need to pick something else... once you've confirmed that you're eligable, of course.
