  1. KFG: Do you want a straightfoward answer? I was not using a speedhack program, regardless of you think. The extra speed could be caused by anything... the way I handle the stubby, my connection, the lag from the amount of players in the server yesterday, or anything, for that matter. I would love for you to hand over the video you that so generously recorded of me. If you'd like I could record the way a few KFCs move as well. Maybe we can compare it - I'm sure it'd be no different, though. Utopia "whizzes around a bit?" The first thing he did when I walked into the server was teleport right over to my side and pulled a one shot kill... he did that twice, actually. I've never seen a person move so fast, and yet you actually let him play in the server without any interruptions? That is just one KFC; I can name quite a few others that move like he does, too. The fact is, you and your friends singled me out. You had power over me, so you had to kick me, be it a pitiful reason or not. That's really disappointing... I suppose this is what draws many people away from your (poorly administrated) server in general. It's your server though, run it however you like, but if you're going to throw these pathetic accusations at me, then at least have something to back your reasoning. Utopia: That is intended. That certainly explains a lot. It's much different on my screen and others, though - you do much more than just "whiz around." Turning your frame limiter off is like turning a cheat on in itself in many people's minds. Maybe you fail to realize that, but you're free to ask around. If you want me to take it as a compliment, then just say so, but I'm not going to sit here and listen to you say that I was using a "speedhack," which I wasn't. I'm a long-time MTA player and I would not do anything to even come close to cheating, or whatever you call it. Are you trying to tell me now that I cheat indefinately? You leave me with no choice but to say that I don't. I'm sorry if you think my "integrity is jeapordized," but what do you expect when you tell me to admit something that isn't true?
  2. Should this matter be handled privately? No, after hearing Utopia's supposed reason for kicking me. He claims that I move too fast and suspected me of using mods and/or a "speedhack program." I would just like to say now that that is utter bullshit and you all know that I don't cheat. I see many KFCs move like I do, so it's nothing new. Utopia himself flashes around me when I fight him, but you don't see me kicking him from any server that I have admin access to. Who knows what causes the extra amount of speed? Maybe it could be a program. Claiming that I use it, however, is frankly a poor and unconstructed reason for kicking me, and all that were involved know it. I would disagree with the fact that KFC "has no animosity towards me," Utopia. If anything they wouldn't have kicked me at all if they enjoyed my presence there.
  3. Okay, thanks. I still don't quite understand who you're calling lame in ULK... but I guess that doesn't matter. You can have a gang war with us whenever you're ready.
  4. If it was your kick then that script is really fucked up. I'd like an explanation now as to why I was kicked like that. I suppose it was just ruling in your favor... typical, knowing you.
  5. Oh, and I was hit by yet another abusive admin... TurboX. I was playing in the Partyserver with around 90 kills... lots of people there, so I know I was lagging, but in the midst of gameplay this happens: He didn't even warn me or give me a reason to be kicked. This kind of thing really upsets me when some power hungry admin kicks me when I'm topping the server with a lot of kills. I don't know if he was angry because I was owning him or it was my ping... if so, he didn't follow your guidelines you just posted at all, KFG. He just kicked me. If you're going to let "trusted KFCs" admin your server, then at least teach them how to do it. Admining to your favor is just pathetic.
  6. Right... lamers. ULK hasn't even asked for a war with UT, nor even involved with your argument here, so I'd suggest that you stop talking shit behind our backs. On a side note, I actually agree with KFC... just sounds like an excuse to avoid a war with two of the best gangs out there.
  7. He did. A log from IRC about a week ago: That may have changed since, though...
  8. I think MrBump said somewhere that the Spas 12 will be taken out of 0.4. Correct me if I'm wrong...
  9. The M60 is anything but accurate... If you can actually register a shot, it proves to be a very effective weapon, though. As for editing its power/accuracy, that would require modifying the game files, which I believe the MTA team doesn't want to do at this point. You need powerful weapons like this, however, to compensate for MTA's lag and glitches. Weak weapons are already far too difficult to kill someone with.
  10. Updated. Nice choice of base. I helped JoStud and some others hold it in the =DA= server tonight... the only disadvantage is that it's open to a chopper invasion on top. Thanks for the compliments, Cerbera.
  11. Glad to finally hear of some progress... good luck, MTA team.
  12. Amazing. This information was posted all over the internet, and even Rockstar has some screenshots on their website. It has to be true.... many things will be added and removed, of course, but this gives us a basic idea of what San Andreas will be like.
  13. Cortez's boat, eh? How exactly do you defend that, and you do have to go by chopper to get there, right? Whatever... Ransom: That's a fine place to defend, but highly susceptible to chopper attacks nonetheless if they're allowed in a match. I've updated the map.
  14. Thanks for updating the links Bump. I do see the downsides. As Cerbera stated, it's generally a bad idea to choose those locations. If anyone wants them, then I'll warn them about it (as they're generally not appreciated in matches), but if they insist then I'll add them to the map. Agreed? =)
  15. No... my host has some occasional downtimes (which usually last a while), but as far as the amount of bandwidth and space I receive, I think I'm fine. I'm very grateful to vicecitymods.de which gave me that package for free... As far as the teleport/texuture loading locations go... I really can't see why some people think it's unfair, anyway. It takes away many of the good locations on the map. Textures loading slow? Get a better computer. Think the teleport spots shouldn't be used? It only switches screens within a split second, so what's the problem? If the base is a spawn point and is used during a gang war, shouldn't it be the leader's responsibility to ensure that no one respawns? They could just as easily spawn somewhere else and go to the base, anyway. I have no problem adding any of these locations to the map if anyone wants them. It should be the other gang's decision in a match if they want to attack it or not.
  16. I left VCP off because I seem to remember Ransom saying he didn't want the Downtown Offices anymore because it was one of the 'teleport locations.' Do you have any comment on that?
  17. I've added {Ns}. Xenex: I'm very much up-to-date with the MTA community, and I'm certain that VCXS is not around anymore (in fact, I've never heard of them, but that's beside the point). If a certain clan doesn't want the community to let them know that they're alive, then they should get their base taken away from them. If a clan gets removed due to months inactivity and another claims their base, then it's their fault. The point is... I don't want gangs who are long dead to hog spots on the map for active ones.
  18. VCXS had claimed it, but I don't think they're around anymore. {Ns} is welcome to take it if they'd like. All of these inactive gangs were just hogging spots on the map, so I removed them. If any other gang would like to claim an empty spot, just tell me. Good bases are going fast...
  19. Hm... and no examples of your work, you two? ;P 1024x1024 Version Here's an updated gang headquarters map. I left some off that I'm not too sure of, but it's a start. At least I removed those that were months inactive which Cerberus failed to do... Bump, you can link to my () image if you'd like. I can keep track of all new requests of HQ relocations/additions. It's fairly easily update the map with Photoshop.
  20. I'm sure you're very up-to-date considering you knew nothing about SCM decompilation and thought it was impossible. And you continue to call me a cheater, or whatever you're implying. I think everyone knows by now that I play fair and ULK doesn't promote or endorse cheating. I mod single player in a separate directory, and that's it.
  21. Haha. Like Black_Dragon said, there are tools out there to decompile and edit it with. You're obviously not very up-to-date with the modding community. As for calling us "cheaters," I created a separate VC folder specifically for modding and a clean installation to play MTA on long ago. I'm certain that many other people have done this, too.
  22. The chrome shotgun has a better range, but it inflicts less damage. You have to knock the person down and shoot him multiple times in order to kill him. I personally find the stubby more effective... its range is reasonable enough, and you can kill as soon as you knock your opponent down (the cops require a bit more shooting however).
  23. It isn't if you decompile and edit it.
  24. To answer the original question... no, the weapons are perfectly balanced. It's good to hear that the racer was taken out though. I prefer the robber. In actuality, the stubby itself is weaker than the M60 and most other weapons - people have just found ways to use it effectively. I personally never jump during fights... I just run around my opponent, by the way. I've stayed away from the mexican in 0.3 because the M60's accuracy seems to have dropped, and you have to aim in strange places in order for a hit to register. I hope this is fixed in 0.4... in 0.2, it was perfect. If you use the molotov trick however, you'll find the mexican much more useful, and the chainsaw is great against the people that stay in one position all the time when they're firing.
