Well, actually I've never ever tried to get in there. What I didn't like, though, was that the actors would be displayed on the radar (so you'd think they were real players) and you'd be able to see their name tags through the wall. I don't mind where they are, just as long as I don't know that they're there. I think the people you see there ( on the radar and their nametags tru the wall) have already gotten in game and spawned and THEN drove to there and merged themself tru the wall.So it isnt somethign they can "fix" . edit: BTW you can only stay there for a few seconds so.......

No its not , i think this error will only show up the first time you run mta , however if you can go in game and play then you shoudnt worry about it, and no you arent the only person with this problem , i think the reason you dont see anyone else complaining about it is because it only happens the first time , and it doesnt prevernt you from playing, like i said if you can play , then ignore it.

hmmm ............ ok i will lock this since you fixed it yourself.. I hate it when peopel ask for help then when they get it fixed by doing something ( that was not said in the replies he got ) and doesnt post what he did to fix it, anyways ,cokeheads post is a bit confusing since he doesnt know where to put . and , andyways . If your using ase to find server and you try to connect to a server which you know is 0.4 and you get incorrect version ,this is the way to fix it .i know cause it happend to me too. You go to : filter > configure games >Installed games >multi thef tauto Ok since you already would have an older install of mta ( 0.3 in this case) you would see ithat the path to the .exe is already selected , the problem whoever is that ase is still being pointed to the old .exe ( 0.3 ) so you would simply have to browse and select the new .exe ( 0.4 ) and then you shoudnt have the problem anymore. I think if you just uninstall the old version before installing the new one then you woudnt have this problem , but im not sure here if you still have the problem do as i said above. ============================================== LOCKED

Yes. Not that they have tought what exactly they are going to do but it is the intentions to expand to more gamemodes, its even very likely that mta will become modable ( to and extent) in the future.

well kung , mtama cant remove the nades and mollies but it can kick (ban) a person that kills with it , im not sure but with admin + i think as soon as he throws it mtama would know, so you would have to figure it out from there if its usable or not.

Glad you fixed it, altought i doubt its the sound drivers themself, maybe just somethig that gets installed with it ,anyways i guess the bes tthing to say is have up to date drivers.( for all your hardware)

DO you have a firewall by any chance? you never know try turning it off .

Ok i think you mean mtama commands, commands like !ping and !kick etcetc For that you need mtama check this page : http://www.mtavc.com/downloads.php?file_id=69 It is only in english but it shoudnt be hard to understand if you dont intead on making scripts yourself so get that read the manuals and readme and you should be able to get what you want ( btw you have to have a own server to be able to use mtama on it) anyways if you have problems and questions about mtama, look in add ons section for its thread . Whats your operating system ? If its 98 im sorry for you but that os isnt compatible with mta.

You WONT be able to travel between islands not in any of the patches, what will happen is that you ( as server admin) will be able to choose between the 3 islands so you would either have island 1 ,2 or 3, not all of them. This is for the people that will reply saying that you can.: You can go with to the other islands with dodo , but if you get out on the other island you would get teleported back to the original one

i think the simple answer to the money question is that in liberty city there is something you can do with the money ( find out for yourself what you can do with it) And in vice city there isnt anything you can do with money (yet) so there is no need for it.. Im pretty sure we can expect money in vice city sometime in the future .

just because of what your saying in your post and just looking at some way you say things , i highly doubt the part where you say you were one of the best. i think you are one of those that with 0.3 never could have killed anyone ( or hardly) and always accused people of cheating simply because you coudnt kill them.. ( you were missing)

Just to be sure, did you accuse them of cheating and got a response? Cause from what i can see its on of 2 things , the either a) changed the cop car skin in their game into a heli ( with a cracked client) or B) they have a heli and arent cheating and you just saw it as a different vehicle in this case a cop car , this happend once when i was in a betatest, it happend to/with a person i know doesnt cheat ( and noboyd woud be stupid enough to cheat while betatesting anyways) , we all saw him with a car but he was in fact in a heli.
