yeah . it was great until they sent me a letter saying they would suspend my service if i stoped using all the bandwidth i was using , i have a webserver... ... Well all i know is that i still use the same or maybe even more bandwidth and they have never send me any more letters or suspended my service < thank god for this/

As vass said . MAKE SURE you change the ports . The default one is 2003 . So the next one can be 2004 , 2005 , 2006 and so on ... if you dont change the ports it will not work .

Well . My friend has the same problem . The only way to fix it is to get a card updates , or to get a better card . But what my friend does is , when ge goes in-game . he gets a shotgun and keeps shotting around , that "forces" the pc to load the textures . this also works with cars , get a car and press accel and brake/reverse at the same time . it will smoke the wheels and the textures will load . The only way i see here for you to fix this prob is to get a a betters card .. or keep following one of the instructions above ...

thats the alpha . that should only happen for some seconds and then the videocard should load the "real" textures... If its taking more than like 50 secs , then your videocars is crap ...
