S.A.R.L - San Andreas Racing league - Entrants, discussions

We should be holding a SOLO event tonight to try out some of the tracks we have created especially for the league, this is a friendly or a warm-up if you will. It's primarily to give you all a chance to get familiar with the tracks so far and to iron out any organisational problems that may arise, we may score it for fun but it wont count towards the league itself. It isn't fair for potential teething problems to hurt peoples league scores. If all goes well and the tracks are well recieved we will start the league proper on monday or tuesday of this week. NOTES: Screenshots of the scoreboard should be taken as soon as someone wins a race, this is to record final positions of all involved for later scoring. Please try to meet up in irc://irc.multitheftauto.com/SARL between 4 and 5pm (GMT) For server details and other last minute information. We will post the details here too but you will get the information after everyone else (and may miss some entirely) if you don't come to irc. -

Is there a limit to how many checkpoints can be on the same spot? I have made a multi-lap race and although it tests fine with the editors 'test race' it won't load in the server due to 'errors'.

Nice, just tested it with my new map RockyRoad32 and it worked perfectly, though a little laggy but thats not too vital for a test server. map can be obtained here for anyone interested. http://center.mtasa.com/?p=race&r=1358 (it's also on littlewhiteys superb 32 player server if you just feel like trying it out)

My SA is in D:\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas\ and the server is in I:\mta server\ and both work perfectly, (apart from the whole initial mta client registry entries being overwritten on install of server thing ), so I doubt that was your issue.

cant load MTA, screen disappears after few seconds...

Somehow I don't think the above person is kryptos. Far too many swearwords, not enough paragraphs and the post relates to the thread.
