OK, added Mr.Kreska, removed Ransom, You will need to find an alternate partner for DUO I'm afraid MAD_BOY, its not going to be possible having an entrant that has me on ignore here, they will miss most of the relevant info. Forum PM's sent to all entrants today requesting a contact email address for mass-mail announcements. Thanks to DominionSpy and chode for letting me know theirs in advance.
  3. Servers localto you wont show in your ASE. (Again, this information needs to be somewhere obvious to stop people too damn lazy to search the forum from posting the problem over and over.)
  4. There must be a semi-auto way to do something like that (just like you can process the file to line up multiple objects or create geometric patterns etc), the map files being plain text should help offer a way.
  5. To be fair he's not lazy, he's put a lot of work into creating extremely useful applications. He just doesn't excel at documentation, I had to write the initial mtama instructions I think, way way back. (And correct most of the english in the first game-mode scripts hehe)

I think I'll put together a mailing list to let all entrants know of future events and rule discussions etc in advance as it seems many of the people who've signed up aren't checking this thread particularly regularly. Ill try and gather the available emaildetails today, if you don't have your emailaddy publicly available on the forum (I imagine most won't) I'll try and PM you all requesting it. Feel free to PM me it beforehand if you wish

  16. Are the road signs in the editor somewhere? I'm looking specifically for hazard and warning signs. If they are and you know the section (or even the I.D's) I'd appreciate the info. Thanks.

Sounds like lag to me too, when i played on 33.3k dialup (Don't ask) for a few days it would take around 3 seconds for the server to register the fact I had pased through a checkpoint, therefore the next would not be 'active' yet often causing me to miss the third. This would also cause the vehicle changing to be delayed, making you drown or get embedded in extreme cases.

Sounds like lag to me too, when i played on 33.3k dialup (Don't ask) for a few days it would take around 3 seconds for the server to register the fact I had pased through a checkpoint, therefore the next would not be 'active' yet often causing me to miss the third. This would also cause the vehicle changing to be delayed, making you drown or get embedded in extreme cases.
  22. Looks like it may have been a problem with Jani's (linux) server at the time, it loaded fine on my local win32 server and later on Janis for the SARL warmup. Not sure why it errored initially, odd.

I was going to post some screenshots but as takign one pauses the game for a microsecond,and the races were highly competitive, I didn't actually take many whilst racing, only ones of the results for totting up afterwards. (which I willdo shortly) But here's one of me after i messed up a fast corner and rolled my Sabre - without hitting anything first! - not done that before in SA. A random race end screeny. And the results compiled: The results were as follows: Si|ent: 4 wins, 1 second, 1 third Mad Boy: 4 wins, 3 seconds, 1 third Aerial: 2 wins, 2 second, 1 third Jani: Unranked SmilyOrg: 0 wins, 3 seconds, 1 third Great fun in all but a real shame more of you couldn't make it. The maps went down well on the whole (all were custom created for the league bar one) with rockyroad still remainign un-completed in competition - mainly due to everyone else drowning!
