Not really. Is there really such a problem with just using your local IP to connect to your server?

but i have to run it every time i want to play it?!?!? Everytime you want to use a program, you generally have to run it. Like if you want to use your computer, you have to turn it on, right? Some people are just geniuses...

If you're asking for the answer to this question: Then it depends on which router you have. Some will let you loop back to yourself with your outside IP, whereas some will not and you'll just have to use your internal IP (which is smarter anyway).

BTW, dont think going onto irc for a week will get you on the team either Hence "regulars".

Why do you keep entering carriage returns manually? Do you not realise the forum does it automatically for you to wrap your text around the page without spoiling the layout. It's annoying to read it the way you type.

The developers people for the beta team themselves, you can't ask to join. They normally pick regulars from the IRC channel and/or people who contribute a significant amount to the community.

Air to air missile? LOL. Stingers are long strips of spikes which police spread across the road which are designed to burst and deflate the tyres of criminals in car chases. The old style ones are physically thrown out into the road by an officer and then pulled away by a piece of attatched rope, the newer ones (not in GTASA) just sit on the road and are activated by radio control, so the officer can activate the spikes when the criminal comes past and then deactivate them so that it doesn't burst the police cars tyres too.

Imo that's one of the worst features in SA-MP. I'm glad MTA aren't doing it too.

For people with the same problem, the solution is: disable your firewall.
