(downloading might prove more expensive for me though ) ma friends know why lol Might then resurrect the GTA2 online activity I'll go check out the size of that file now... edit: hmm I get timed out too, those connections must be strained and busy by all those downloads. Select Internet TCP/IP Connection for DirectPlay in available protocols 4. One person starts a network game with nothing in the Protocol Connection box and then creates a new game 5. Other players put the ip address of the first person in the Protocol Connection and start network game, then join the game in the list

Forwarding ports and/or changing settings on your router or firewall software may help...

I read over at gtaforums that the servers taking care of the channel lists, have been long gone. MB couldn't see any games listed, I'll have to see if I even can get this working for LAN

Try it the other way (the other person hosting). If that works make sure you both have their exe.
